"I heard it's your birthday and you know what that means, we're gonna have a big PARTY with all your friends and there's gonna music and streamers and balloons and punch and dancing and ..." [insert random Pinkie Pie rambling here]Man, Pinkie Pie is too damn cute. I regret nothing. I was pleasantly surprised at how this turned out, but finding a category for it took a while.
My favorite frame is the third one, which incidentally is also the preview image. I can't stop giggling like an idiot. I can almost hear the bouncing sound. All of the animations in the newest Desktop Ponies release only reinforce my belief that Pinkie is the cutest and most adorable of the bunch.

Umm, a white picture in Paint as a kind of 'lightscreen' and a scene from the show as guide for the poses. I don't know if I'll be doing something like this again, though. It was a lot of work and I just wanted to do something cool for Fenwolf's birthday. But I had fun.

I did draw all of it by hand. I just used the white space of the monitor to shine through the paper and overlay the frames before I got to shading.

It was just improvised. I usually just have the paper lying on a table and maybe hold it up against the screen when I've ruined a piece and want to remake it, but don't want to figure out all the lines again. So I just retrace the good lines on a second piece of paper over the first one.

That's a good way of doing things. Generally I don't draw things though there are drawings in my gallery done for coursework purposes (therefore not ponies) and both I never had to use a guide for or anything to draw from. Probably how they turned out so bad. One of them had to be redrawn on photoshop. I am glad I am good at that sort of thing. If I do try to draw anything for this fandom I may use a method similar to yours. Though obviously not exactly the same... And I do believe I have a lightboard somewhere.
