Description
I just bought an external flash for my camera and this little series shows my first experiments with it.All of these shots were taken at night, with a little ambient light and the flash.

Can you handle critique?

I think it might have looked better with f4 or 5.6. Now only a small part of the flower is sharp, if the whole flower was sharp it would have been better. The lighting is very nice though, what kind of flash did you use?

I'm always up for a little critique! I agree with everything you said. I took the shot in the dark, so it was hard to tell what I was actually focusing on

I bought the Canon Speedlite 430EX and am loving it! It was a little more than I originally wanted to spend, but it's definitely worth it.
