I was visiting. I hadn't been to Portland in several years, after my great grandparents died my family sold their house. It was an emotional trip for me!

Portland is like Seattle, except cleaner! I've always loved that city and I need to get down there more often..

I have yet to make it up to Seattle, but it's on my list Maybe in the summer when the weather is a bit nicer.

And I really like that third photo, with all the light rays. Very cool!

Kerry Park in Queen Anne is a must see for out-of-towners. It's the infamous postcard view of Seattle. If you like to people watch while you are out, the broadway grill has great food/coffe (as of a couple weeks ago) and looks right out onto Broadway. Then of course, there is Pike Place Market. Tiny f.y.i. from me to you.

Yeah, I ended up buying it I used the new lens for all of the shots at the gardens, other than a couple macros. I have to get used to it still, crazy wide angle.

What are you up to this weekend?

SWEET! Yeah, the wide angle does take some time to get used to i guess. but then after a while you start "thinking" or "seeing" in wide angle and you can't get enough of it!

This week end... hmmm... did you ever go to that place by your house you were talking about? This sat the elders quorum is having a clay pidgeon shooting activity till the early afternoon, but after that i think i'm good.

So you and cami gonna come over soon to rock out on GH world tour? I love the drums... super hard, but SUPER fun!

It's an amazing place, especially in the fall. These photos just don't do justice to the whole garden.
