Hm, I think this closer crop makes more sense, more focused on the fall and the horizontal elements. And hey, those must be some huge rocks, when they're extending beyond the top of the frame ;]

Very nice shot, much better than my shot of the falls. I was there at the wrong time of day. I just cloned the people out of mine. Its pretty ridiculous there, almost like disneyland because theres so many people. I see you are living in Vancouver, WA so we are pretty much neighbors. Did you move there recently? I think I remember seeing your profile a while back and it said you lived somewhere else. I was thinking about going to Oneonta Gorge sometime soon which is near the falls. Look it up if you want to see what it looks like its really cool.

Thanks! I actually stopped by Oneonta Gorge while I was there, but it was around 7 pm. and I went in as far as I could without getting wet. I really do want to go in all the way though. It looks really cool.
And I guess I need to update my profile. I'm living in Hillsboro now, but we're still neighbors. Your photos around Portland are giving me some motivation to get out more often! Especially that St. Johns shot. Amazing!

Thanks. You should check out the shots I just submitted of Smith Rock State Park near Redmond. Its about 2 1/2 hours from Portland. Its a really awesome place.
