Taken just before sunset.I figured that I'd try at least one HDR shot, since they seem all the rage
A composite of 3 exposures, which is why the grass looks kind of odd (It was a little windy).

amazing shot you got here you picked the perfect subject that is for sure. Perfect day for and HDR shot and perfect lighting, clouds came out just the way they should in HDR. The grass doesn't look funky it looks the way it should and you did a great job at capturing the true feeling of the location.

I was so glad that the weather cooperated that day. It was a bland and rainy day, but I wanted to take some pictures so I just hoped into my car and hoped for the best. Luckily it stopped raining and became beautiful. This was my first true attempt at HDR, so it's encouraging to hear that it came out well.

Great shot, much clearer composition than my own farms ;] I like that contrast of bright sunlight and dark cloud. The way it's pointing right at the farmhouse reminds me of the bible: And during day the Lord led them as a dark cloud ;]

Nah, don't be embarrassed. I didn't know what HDR was until I learned from someone else on DA. In short you take multiple shots with differing exposures and then blend them all together into one image. If you want to learn more, just search for hdr tutorials and tons will pop up.
