What made you think of lying on the floor under the counter? Were you worried about someone asking you what the heck you were doing, or did you wait until everyone was gone from the (classroom? kitchen?)
New perspectives on a familiar world are always interesting to get, but I've always gone up for them. (Drive up into the hills, climbing up onto a roof, standing on top of a step ladder, etc.) I've never thought about getting underneath it all and looking at it from the bottom up. Seriously, what made you think of that? That is a really interesting thought to have.

Honestly...I have no idea why I decided to take this picture. I think I was just in one of my bored moods, and decided that there had to be some good shots somewhere in my apartment. So I just wandered around, looking for new and interesting ways to shoot the stuff that I look at every day.
As for the counter, we all know what it looks like from above, we've seen one almost every day of our lives. But that's just it. We didn't always have the same perspective on things. I find it interesting to see like I used to as a child...It's rather facsinating
