Description There is not much reason to know on this account, but I am a very avid fan of Steampunk/Neo Victorian themes. Though technically speaking, despite being a lover of women's (anthro) fashion design too, I actually do not particularly care for that sort of fashion.

I am more into the namesake of the genre; steam powered machines and machine mechs and clockworks. Very sci-fi sort. But saying that, I am not much into the more off the wall futuristic branches of the genre that includes lasers and ray guns.

So I have done a little bit of Steampunk art in the past and I have found my favorite media for portraying the genre is in ballpoint pen on parchment paper. It implies a sort of dirty look while still keeping clean.

An example of my best piece to date from the genre from my studio account:

Anyways, what brought up this grungy lookin' portrait of Applejack, was I decided to go out and look around for a more real pony group to get involved in like I do with #pokedorks for my Pokemon work.

I stumbled across this group and I was like... "You've gotta be kidding, really? That is faaaaantastic omega." So I gave myself a refresher in how to use a ballpoint pen and its quirks. Its one of my top three fastest medias I can execute and execute well with the other two being graphite and metallic colored pencils on black paper.

With the sort of hard work Applejack portrays herself in the My Little Pony show makes me think she would be a sort interested in mechanics. What machines would she work on? I will let you speculate. =3 I'm also playing around with facial designs and expressions on the ponies I draw. Finding something that is more me than the show's.

And no, this Steampunk group was not THE group I was looking for but I did find what I wanted after passing through it. I am still waiting for acceptance confirmation from that other group. But despite that, I think I might find something curious pop up at least in my watch box.
