Nobody Victini:Finally finished. The vector style pioneered on my Black Market account but never fully implemented like this until now, because that account doesn't deserve this quality.
I hope this to be the new style for the new Kingdom Hearts Pokedex now that I am starting over on it. Several old designs will be modified or replaced, but I will try to preserve the most loved classics as much as reasonable.
As for media, 100% done in Illustrator CS5 (excluding the base pencil sketch). This means its also 100% vectors, heavily abusing the Clipping Mask and Livepaint Tools. Gradient Blend and Gradient Mesh are also use, but I don't intend to use the Mesh as much in the future. It looks sloppy compared to the Blend.
I'm also gonna try to avoid making every new coloring off the first sketch of the design. This takes a lot more work and probably needs to be better prepared before working.
The digital work was almost completely done over Livestreams. It gets boring pretty fast, so company of friends helps me keep going.

I have no idea what a Victini would do to get turned into a heartless. o.o' Its been a while since I actually played Kingdom Hearts to remember how it works.

I'm not familiar enough with Kingdom Hearts to comment on the merit of the design in keeping with that game's trends, but I can say that this just flat looks awesome. 
My favorite thing about this isn't the design, but rather, those lines. Oh mah GAWD they're so perfect, so slick and professional looking. I appreciate vectored lines for the smoothness, but I've never gotten results so amazing. I especially admire how you did the points at the ends of body parts such as the claws. Also, great job coloring this to make everything look pretty three-dimensional.
Overall, this style rocks.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the fancy vector work I do here does not exist in Photoshop for the lines, never mind the masks and vector blurs.
Although someone mentioned to me that technically using the Blur filter makes this not a true vector picture. c_c' Lol, whatever.
Anyways, Illustrator allows for extreme precision with the pen tool.
In all honesty, I get to Photoshop to use the pen tool there sometimes and I cannot get it to draw a line or fill. Its like, wtf? WORK.
