OMG Shev, how did you NOT see that thing swimming towards me?! Didn't the fact that I was frantically shooting in that direction give you a clue?! Don't act all surprised! You're the one who just stood there an watched me get nommd over and over again!I mean really, was I missing something? Was I supposed to climb on to one of those boats? CAN I climb onto those boats? I couldn't tell. I was preoccupied by that fact that I was being eaten by an effing crocodile!!!

HA! That's why my brother and I play co-op. And actually, I think the crocs are the scariest part of the game. they gave me nightmares, and the big goo thing doesnt phase me one bit XD

lol!!! My AI is never around me when I enter gatorland. It like runs distraction all over the place-- and it never gets eaten. So I just head to the ladder and continue. Never depend on the AI to help... granted it has it's moments... It's actually saved me a few times...
But yeah those crocs are utter bullshit.

XD This only happened to me once, and I was playing with my sister. But yeah, butterflies are quite a sight to see after running for your life from crazy maniji WITH SOME FREAKING PIPES D:< They count for about, like, 32% of my deaths. I HATE THEM.

The croc was my first ever death in re5, too. I was going to pick up a pack of handgun ammo and out of nowhere CHOMP!! Next thing I know, I get a "YOU FAIL" screen. :\ But this is hilarious XD

By the end of the game, Wesker was responsible for 15% of my total deaths, whereas a whopping 58% were the result of unfortunate crocodile relations.

For real! I didn't start facing deaths until I got to the double reaper and gatling gun brothers. Then wesker was responsible for 18 uroboro bitch slaps in to the lava. If it wasn't him smacking me into oblivion, it was sheva falling to her death while I punched the boulder. DX

Yeah, the lava scene sucked! My boyfriend and I died 19 times on that level before we finally managed to kill Wesker. The times Wesker didn't bitch slap one of us into the lava, was Sheva falling into the lava after the bridge collapses cuz the continued button-press to pull her up is retarded.

Exactly! But there's a way to do a faster kill on Wesker. When the first bridge breaks and Chris gets seperated from Sheva. If you can manage to shoot Wesker enough that his weak spot shows before you go around the corner to the boulder, your partner can fire a rocket at him and it should kill him instantly. I discovered thatwhile playing veteran and I had finally gotten ahold of the infinite rocket launcher. XD

During the first battle with Wesker you can one-hit him (on normal) by hiding until he comes nearby, shooting a rocket launcher at him. He catches it, then shoot the rocket in his hands. Pretty schweet!

Sheva is like a child with ADD and a need to hold the trigger down until she's completely out of bullets. She loves to run good and far away from me so I can get swarmed and start to die and run over one second too late to remedy my DYING status.

Well she IS an AI, so some running about like a ninny is expected, but she's not the worst I've had to work with. The Crocs were the only time I ever had major difficulties with her. She must really like me... Actually she HAS been giving me cute looks and giggling a lot lately. (I'm not kidding.)

She just flat out despises me. Always taking the things that I need and then not giving them to me when I need them. Running off into perilous danger to get herself killed and to further spite me. Not distracting Wesker enough for me to properly shoot him in the ass.

One time, she took a box of ammo right as I was about to take it, and I was out. .
At this point I was already ticked at her, so I shot her in the foot-- surprisingly, she gave me the ammo. Needless to say, she doesn't like me much either. :l

The AI is such a piece of crap. If its controlling Chris or Sheva, its a pain in the ass. I daresay it's worse with Chris, though, because the hulking mass that is his body likes to block up the screen while I'm trying to shoot stuff.
He's good for distracting Wesker, at least.

Sounds like you've got her set to attack mode instead of cover. Hold (o) and press the up down arrow keys to switch between the two settings. (I'm not sure what bottons they are for Xbox, so you might check your manuel.) While she's set to cover, she'll stick close to you, use ammo more sparingly and won't snatch items. With the exception of some boss fights, I'd keep her set like that all the time.
Also, press (o) (or whatever the call/co-op action button is on Xbox) right after she hands you an item and Chris will thank her. It never hurts to be polite!

Ah, yes, I'm familiar with switching modes. Unfortunately, neither of them do me many favors. She's gonna waste ammo regardless, just that Cover makes her shoot less and Attack makes her not shoot enough (why the hell do you just shoot a machine gun three shots at a time?). I hardly care about that anymore, all of my weapons and ammo have been maxed out and set to infinite at this point.
I like to save partner-thanking for co-op Mercs. Wesker's ways of saying "thank you" are fantastic.

Once you beat the game, you can start unlocking infinite ammo on some of the weapons. This is a good way to keep her shooting without eating all your ammo.
On the brightside, if you can find an actual person to co-op with, RE5 is win. If not and you're stuck with AI Sheva...
My boyfriend's remedy to her ammo-wasting ways is to just not give her any, lol.

Yes,I know. I've got nearly all every weapon added to the infinite ammo list. All I ever give Sheva is a machinegun since she seems to turn into an idiot if I give her any other type of gun.
I've played co-op RE5 so much its ridiculous. Hell, I played the demo for ever little bit it was worth just because co-op was the best thing ever.
I have to give her something to fight with otherwise she'll think that knife of hers is actually worth using and she gets herself raped. Sheva's such a glorified form of Ashley AI-wise. :/
