I hit Wesker with an egg (during the Wesker + Jill fight.) It was epic.Not everyone was to keen on his "new look" at the end of the game. Sure it was a departure from the cool, calculated badass we all know and love... and it was a bit comic book-ish (as Chris points out,) but I thought it was cool. I mean, he goes berserk and sprouts tentacles. ***How is that not all kinds of awesome?*** Besides, you gotta know this was building up the whole series. Sociopaths aren't known for their anger management skills.
I've pretty much been glued to my computer for the past two weeks trying to get this done. You'd think all those tendrils would be a bitch to render, but they were pretty easy. They just took a long time. The only part that really, really, drove me insane was all those bits of scrap... And they don't even look that good! I may never render anything metallic ever again.
ALSO: I'm not opening up the floor for any is-he-really-dead/isn't-he-really-dead debates. Let's just keep that on the forums.

Holy Lord this picture is enormously atmospheric. I feel uneasy looking into Wesker`s eyes. That is one of these drawings where you are afraid they might come to life. Gawh the smirk on Wesker`s face is hella creepy but very well drawn.

A rather gorgeous piece of a rather underrated form, of a rather memorable villain; While well-executed colors and lighting can make a piece good, its the portrayal of the character that really makes this one stand out.
You managed to capture his normal superiority-complex-like nature while adding the faint unstable emotion, and the final snap of what little sanity Wesker had left when the final battle in the volcano took place.
Most Resident Evil fan-artists on DA usually make Wesker a level-headed cold-stone badass but you captured a more insane side of him and damn you did it well...

KICKASS!!! I thought the last fight was epic, in a volcano just made it even more epic. I find his now glowing eyes in that scene nearly psychological. Basically he lost his marbles, explaining his long monolouge lines: THE HUMAN RACE REQUIRES JUDGEMENT!!!

Honestly I like the way the scraps look. Maybe if there was a little more shine to them... but even so, it's very well done. Fave for sure. (that wasn't actually supposed to be criticism...simply pointing out the only thing that came to mind when I looked again after reading what you wrote about your pic ^^)

You're right about those scaps, but don't worry I'm still overall very satisfied with this picture... You'd think egg would way his hair down but it still maintains a lot of lift and body. He really must be a genius to mannage that look.

I'm glad you're satisfied with it. I know I love it. That's very true about the egg..... I think my all time favorite is whenever he used a First Aid Spray though. It looks like he's spritzing a little extra hairspray to keep that lift and body you're talking about.

I swear, if you watch the actual cutsceans closely you can see Wesker's nipple. No, I didn't just add that in there for kicks. I can't help but wonder why the developers felt it was neccesary to maintain 50% nipple visablility at this point in the transformation.
I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT: Someone made a concious desision to show that nipple! DOES THAT NOT BLOW YOUR MIND???

There is no other word for this than just amazing. The expression that he has is perfect but also facially it's very obviously Wesker. The body and the Uroboros is just completely stunning as well.
