FINALLY OUT OF THAT DAMN CELL BLOCK!!
sPYRO HAS never used a portal before and when you go through them it kinda feels fuzzy like a fruit tingle lolly
thats how i think of it xD so hes feeling pretty weird!I also tried some PERSPECTIVE that i goofed up but the next few pages should help me with perspective as its a lot of scenery!
Cynder is a convexity dragon
Only one born in the year of the dragon can open the portal that serves as the dark master's prison.
Little cyndie here mastered her portal powers!
heres a little info on the convexity dragons in the world of Reign.
They are born with black scales and one element. Cynder = wind. cynnie has more because she was corrupted and stuff They are black regardless of corruption and element. They can open the portal to convexity (usually used a prison for the highest of crimes. Usually crimes against the dragon race or treason against the world. It is a fate worse than death, as they are trapped in solitude.) When a dragon has mastered their element and magic for the convexity portals they can use their talents to create small portals to jump around their environment. They can also create portals to bring things OUT of convexity, like the convexity breath itself. This is of the highest mastery skill. There will be one other known convexity dragon we will meet in reign as the current story is going!- As they are born every year of the dragon.
We've never seen (or atleast I havent noticed) anyone actually using Cynder's convexity dragon status to define her, everyone focuses on her corruption- WHICH IS TOTALLY OKAY!! We just went for another look into her character.

I like that you're bringing back that part of her story. X3 Yet another part of the games that was just sort of mentioned but never explored or mentioned again after it was introduced~
If convexity dragons are black, what colour would a shadow dragon be? Or do you not count shadow as a proper element in Reign, or do they share scale colours or do scale colours not matter beyond convexity and purples?

Shadow is not an "element" in Reign. It is a skill 
Only Convexity Dragons and Purple Dragons have "set" scales

I'm not even sure if Shadow Dragons exist in Reign. I'm pretty sure we labeled it as an element/Convexity residue but I'm not sure yet. You'll know later lmao

So, basically nobody did care about poor Cyn' being all "Speshul " and cool and JUST focus on her bad deeds that she did without actually wanting being a part of it?
And... *corrects smartass glasses*
Spyro has in a matter of fact travelled thorough portals before, at three different occasions;
1. When he entered convexity to fight evil corrupted Cynder.
2. When he saved he after defeating her in said fight, they both go in and out of the big "beam" thing in the final cutscene of the first game/first cutscene of the second game.
3. And then thee's the dream sequence where he travels with portals once or twice while getting instructions from The Chronicler in the second game.
...
Oh wait. yeah. She's a baddie now.
