Yup.Its finally done.
AVATAR TUTORIAL, WOOO!
DOWNLOAD, though be warned, its huge. xD
I don't know how long I've wanted to get this up.... but I must say, it took my whole day. oo; Right when I got home, I sat down and started. And now its mah bedtime and its finally finished! 8D Yeyyeyyey. -dances- The only bad thing is that photoshop closed out of it mid-project and i hadn't saved for a while... so it did have alot neater features... like little jellyfish buttons. =3 But they were lost. >> Hope you enjoy this either way!

GIMP is... is........................... the Gnu Image Manipulation Program [link] I have a Photoshop CS as well, but I use GIMP cause it works better with my tablet... Or maybe it's because I have NO idea how to set the settings for it to work better on PSCS but who cares...

Glad to hear, I wish it wouldn't have gone kersplat on me... it would have been more detailed.
Sure if you still need it! Um, take the magic wand tool... select the background area that you want transparent.... then hit the delete key and I think you should be good.

I learned how already, but this guide is really what got me started in pixel art stuff ^^
It's really a fantabulous guide.
What I do, though, is copy the picture from paint into photoshop.
It's alot easier and doesn't mess up the colours.
