Maria Stark Foundations Valentine's Charity Event
SHIELD requests the Avengers to do public appearances, and whenever Tony lets something explode or the Hulk smashes one too many things, they don't request anymore. They order. A request he could have refused. An order he cannot. And he would have done anything really, put back on his old stage uniform, jump of the Empire State. Anything but this.
On paper, it's been decades since he has seen them last. To him, it has been only a few months. But either way, he was too late. He doesn't want to be here.
Finally, most of the Avengers in one picture. And then Captain America had to go and be sad. Sorry, I had to do this. I just want to give Steve a hug. This was actually my interpretation of Valentine's Day, but life is so horribly busy at the moment.
Painted in Photoshop, Bamboo Tablet, approx. 45 hours.

Ja, mit Steve hab ich angefangen, der Rest ist so ein bisschen drumrum gebaut. Eigentlich hätte es auch bei ihm bleiben können
Ihre Haut sieht ein bisschen künstlich aus und der Körper ist nich so kontrastreich gearbeitet, vielleicht liegts daran. Ich bin dann auf Thor übergegangen, da war sie vergessen
Ich weiß gar nicht, ob Steve so arm ist. 70 Jahre lang Zinsen auf sein Armeegehalt? Keine Ahnung. Aber Charity Ball hab ich eher so gedacht, reiche "jung gebliebene" Damen geben ganz viel Geld für eine Karte aus, um Captain America zu treffen - und gaaaaaaaaanz unauffällig seinen Popo anzugrabschen.
Mir gehts grad einigermaßen, ich hab sehr viel Stress in der Arbeit, deshalb komm ich eigentlich zu nix anderem mehr - schon gar nicht zum Malen. Obwohl ich gerade sehr viele Ideen hätte.

Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, Cap und Natasha gefallen mir auch voll gut zusammen. Und sie gehört ja eigentlich nicht zu Clint, sondern zu Bucky. Aber naja, bei den Superhelden ist sowieso alles irgendwie inzestuös und jeder mit jedem.

Hihi, ich glaube, da wird es mal noch ein Bild zu geben. Ich hab ein Bunny dazu im Kopf.
Natasha hat mit dem Winter Soldier einige Aufträge zusammen gemacht und sie waren wohl mal ein Liebespaar. Das hab ich auch gar nicht aus dem neuen Film, sondern von den ganzen Fanfics und Comics.
Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie sie das im Film umsetzen

OMG! I love this! Your use of mirrors is always genius! Poor Steve! I love him so much. He's my favorite Avenger and considering how much I love Tony that says something.
I love Jane's face. And may I just say that this is one good looking Thor. Kudos!
No evident Stony in this one but I love Pepper too.
And of course my darlings Clint and Natasha. Putting Clint sitting like that was perfect, in my opinion. It feels so Hawkeye.
I'm still hoping to see you draw some Clintasha. You're so talented that I just want to see how you'd draw them. Hope Cap 2 gives more ideas because I love seeing new deviations from you.

He's my favorite as well, many people don't get it, he's so underappreciated.
I like Tony and Pepper as a couple as well, but there is a bit of Stony hinted - if you glimpse you'll miss it - but Tony is focusing his attention not on Pep.
There may be a Clintasha - painting some time, but I can't promise you that yet. There will be a StevexNatasha (in undertones, may also be just platonic) before that.
I will definitely post the link if someone writes a fanfic (and if I get notified about it). I think I've done it for other pics as well

Bruce and Betty ... I liked both actresses who portrayed her recently, and I didn't want to choose, and since she didn't have an appearance in the new movies, I just solved it like this.

It is a bit selfish, really. I usually start with Tony looking at something (Steve), because Robert's face conveys so much emotion. And then I just can't stand to turn Steve around and not have his face in the picture. So I add the mirrors

Personally, I thought this evening should progress with every single one of the Avengers, including Pep, walked up to him and asked him to dance. That thought makes me warm and gooey inside. And Tony would be the last one.
My thoughts for Tony were exactly like "My Capsicle is in distress, what do I do?" I think it'd be a bit conspicuous if he just went and whisked him away to a secluded room. Think of the tabloids!

If you look closely, Steve's back is against a mirror (you can also see the party table items reflected). The rest is mirrored as well, though these guys have strangely symmetric faces (which is probably why they are so attractive in the first place) so it doesn't really jump at you.

I love the details, here. The expression on Jane's face as she loses her shoe, the quiet melancholy/peace in Bruce's expression... and the way that Tony seems to be looking not at Pepper but, in the mirror behind him, back at Steve.

I know, I am just a real sucker for hurt Steve, and I felt so sorry for him during these short glimpses in the Avengers (and the rest of the deleted scene). And I am not even sure if the next movie will mend that.
