This feels so alive and real. There's so much meaning in this. The title really adds to it as well.

Just got to say, I agree with that critique completely apart from the saying there should be more toys in the background.
While I can understand that view I have to disagree, I think due to the fact that the doll and the rocking horse are pretty much the only thing in the photos, the photo is a lot nicer.
It's less crowded which allows the viewer to focus more on the actual subjects and I think because of the "certain" things in the description the point was that she just has to let go of the rocking horse plainly because it is too small for her now.
I would write this in a critique myself or a reply to the existing one but I don't have a premium so I can't, just felt I needed to say this though.

I really love the tone of the light in this. o_o You always seem to know how to use it. It's very sort of nostalgic, which I think is appropriate. I also love the pose and of course, your combinations of color with wig and eyes. <3

Such a great concept truly. I always love your shots and how much depth can be put into them, this being one of them. Not only is London a lovely doll, but the posing in this picture is just perfect for the theme as well.
