A little preview of sorts ;3 *jaded-august , =blindflower and I took Nike and Kanja to the beach so there'll be a crap ton of beachy spam to come when I get home -assuming I DO get home, fuckin' volcanos- but gaaaah, trying to edit on someone else's computer never mind a pc in general is hard >.<But yeah, having an awesome time in Canada and it was so great to actually get Kanja and Nike together, they're such a pair of beach bums.

May I ask why you don't respond to the people who comment your work with praise? I mean no offense, I'm just curious.

Generally because I just fail at keeping up with my inbox and feel stupid replying to stuff a week+ later, that and there's only so many ways to say 'thanks' before feeling insincere. I'll usually reply if someone asks something or makes a comment that garners more than a simple 'thank you' but I do read and appreciate them all.

I do understand not thanking every favourite you get, because I don't thank anyone who JUST favs my work, either. However, I do respond to anyone who does take the time to type something up, even if it's just two simple letters, "ty". I do understand a busy schedule and this was not a personal stab at you at all! I have asked a few other artists the same thing, and have gotten a few polite repsonses and a few angry ones. Anyone who hasn't responded, I'm removing from my watchlist and favourites, because in my opinion, we as artists are nothing without our fans, right? I am very sorry if my question offended you, because that was not my intent at all. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I do enjoy your work and am really happy that you are of one of the artists I will remember for your kindness and true concern. Again, I'm sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way!

From the way people responded/commented the vast majority don't really get upset over a lack of replies unless asking something specific which is understandable I think.
To be honest though, while I'm grateful for each comment and fave and take the time to read each and every one I'd rather spend my time taking more pictures than copy/pasting a generic 'thank you'

I love this photo, but I'm also a sucker for beach shoots. My favourite part is how the colours of the hair work so well with the surroundings. Was this taken on vancouver island?

Absolutely beautiful.. there's a sad glorious melancholy tinge to this photo... somehow, it makes me feel kind of compassionate for that lone figure staring out in to the watery horizon....

Yeah, I really hope they start letting flights back in and out of Europe soon :< I'm supposed to be flying back on Monday and so far they've confirmed they'll be canceled up until at least Saturday/Sunday >.<

lol It's the shortcuts that throw me :< I use them really heavily so just having to deal with ctrl instead of the apple key throws me and slows me down a lot >.<
