It was the next morning for Arthur, but with his stress it may as well have been next year. Arthur woke up in the morning to find himself being tailed by an AOC truck. No matter where he went, the truck was there watching him. Arthur couldn't understand how they could follow him so easily. He was completely ignorant of the nano-probes in his blood stream that were acting as a constant beacon to his location. Arthur was also unaware that another man that wasn't associated with the AOC was following him.

While Arthur was distracted, this elderly and bald man bumped him and placed a paper note in his pocket. Arthur finally noticed it several moments later and read it to himself, "As soon as you read this, run to the coffee shop in the shopping center next to this one." Arthur was confused, but was willing to try anything. So he ran.

As soon as Arthur started running, the elderly man opened a portable computer and jammed the nano-probes' beacon. The following AOC troops were thrown into chaos. They had come to depend on tracking Arthur with the probes, without them transmitting Arthur would now easily evade them. Arthur found the coffee shop and blended into the crowd by ordering himself an iced coffee drink. Once he had his beverage he sat down to a table by himself, and watched the AOC troops frantically try to guess his location. That's when the elderly man plopped down in front of him.

"Hi, does this look familiar?" The elderly man asked as he slid technical read out of the pod in front of Arthur. Arthur was clearly unnerved.

Arthur gingerly asked, "Who are you?"

"Hayashi," he said with a smirk, "Doctor Richard Hayashi. We have a lot to talk about."
