I've been playing quite a bit of a classic real time strategy game called Krush Kill and Destroy (KKND).
I quite like the world of the game and it's sequel Krossfire which pits militant human Survivors against tribalistic mutated Evolved in a post-apocalyptic Earth. I got a scrap of a story line in a similar vein stuck in my mind: a human soldier becoming uneasy allies with a mutant warrior with the harsh wilderness as their mutual enemy. I was thinking of naming the soldier Jack (short for Jacqueline) and the mutant Berk (short for Berk).
