Description
Here's Robotnik's righthand man as I imagine him in my Sonic Freebound continuity.Instead of Robotnik's nephew I made him his cousin, his name being Percival Snively instead of Snively Robotnik. I compare him in my mind to Mark Strong's character Sorter from the Guy Ritchie film Revolver: a soft spoken (slightly stutters) obsequious henchfellow who is extremely good at his job and takes quiet pride in the fact. If Snively wants a job done he approaches it with the efficiency and ruthlessness of a machine.

Snively (pronounced Snive-Ly as he'll remind you curtly) has a history from a young age of being one of the first human resistance fighters during the reign of King Maximilian Acorn. Back then his daring raids and notorious ability to skirt bounty hunters and royal guards earned him the name 'The Specter'.
Now he is basically Robotnik's lackey which he strangely doesn't seem to mind at least aloud although Snively rarely shares his feelings if he can help it. He's a bit of an artist with his custom sniper rifle and in other situations he lowers his night vision goggles and draws two small pistols from his sides to deal with adversaries in the dark. He's just that kind of guy.

Got to say kind of a radical departure from the old redesign
(Though admittedly the old version was just the original but given a somewhat less ridiculous design)

Snively looks like a bad ass. It really is a 180 from the goony guy with an attitude. Now he is a goony guy who can kill you with no problem. O.o

I tried to add his little strands of hair but truth is giant hair follicles look a little silly.
I assume he isn't completely bald though (probably a few tufts up there)

I'm not sure about this. The design is fine, but I personally think Snively would be more of a gadgets and tech-using guy (sort of like an evil counterpart to Tails, or a sort-of nod to the "cartoonish supervillain Eggman" considering you're using a no-nonsense dictator for Robotnik instead), not just a gunslinger. I personally feel the "gunslinger henchman" traits should be split off into a completely separate character, like Nack the Weasel, a.k.a. "Fang The Sniper" (albeit with his backstory being a traitor to the Mobians rather than a human resistance fighter).

That's an interesting point.
See to my mind Snively is like Darth Vader (the second in command to the major villain who does most of the most) while Fang is like Boba Fett (the gunslinger type but also a bounty hunter not exactly directly affiliated with the evil empire except by the lure of money).
I might try Fang next and see if I can differentiate him from Snively O_o

True, although I feel Snively would be better used as a "gadget"-type fighter, who pilots war machines (like the classic Eggman bossfights), has robot minions he controls (like Gaige and her "Deathtrap" robot buddy from Borderlands 2), or used sci-fi weapons (like the shock gloves and fire boots of Crimson Viper from Street Fighter, or at least lighting guns or the like).
