Description
&Really liked this one
The idea about this one was pretty much how bitterness sucks. Don't be bitter about anything people, even if you feel you have a right to. Just forgive the people that upset you and move on with your life cause it isn't worth getting worked up and rehashing the past.
Take care, 1 more after this

This is really beautiful. Is this 3D Max? I tried that program once, but really sucked.

Good to hear, I like my descriptions to be just as important as the visuals

WOW! But for some reason, this reminds me more of agony that the skin deep bitterness. The sharp edges and colors contrast eachother perfectly for that title. I'm not sure if you meant this, but from your description it says that you get over it and such? I noticed the light shining through the middle and thought that maybe that's forgiveness breaking through the bitterness...yet...signifies that harsh collision of two sides, spark flying everywhherree..wheeee I love interpreting things, you know? This is an awsome piece!

I absolutely love that interpretation Lolly! I have a thing sometimes when doing abstract art that a lot of things I just do in it just because it looks appealing, but as you have guessed it, I have gotten over it. Most of my pieces can be interpreted as the final stages in agonizing experiences I've gone through because I don't like my art to be made in hatred or malice.

You aint kidding lol. Not sure if it's a bad thing I haven't got with the times, but I'm still interested to see where I go with this. As long as I'm not doing the same ole reproduction 3 years from now I'll be happy

I didn't quite like the render here. Looks fake though and there's too much energy.

Yeah it was my first take on a render like that, but not too bad for a first I think lol. I'll get better

I really like this piece, nice work. In the middle right it kinda looks like a guy on a board zooming through or something.

Bitterness? Looks more like awesomeness to me! On the other hand, it'd be cool if you showed the essence of bitterness, rather than a simple pun (gad I sound like a freakin' critic. But, I feel strangely compelled continue
).
Sometimes, it's good to detach yourself from your usual goal of making images "beautiful". Bitterness doesn't have colorful swooshes around a focal point. One way I'd do it (remember, this is only of many) would be to make sharp, jagged lines compressed like an angry outburst is compressed in a grumble. Anyways, great work. And, sorry if my crit was offensive/pompous/drawn-out/whatever.

No no you raise a very good point, and I truly believe that bitterness probably shouldn't look as pretty as this does lol. I think this is just what I do best so I tend to get in some trends that from time to time might not represent the point I was trying to get across. I guess I tried to show it off in the colors.
But about the focal point, well I think that if I didn't and said bitterness might not have a focal point, I might just be fooling my audience and using that as an excuse to not have a good composition lol.

heheheh. That's true about the composition. I was just making sure that your pic gave what you wanted people to get.
There's no given in art, so a piece doesn't have to be emotive, dynamic, fit a theme or even have a subject to be a great piece.

Wow, its cool. I love how there really isn't sense of scale; this could easily be a super nova or on the atomic level. My new background!

it looks like a tight shot of a vin-diesel action flick... just when he drives the motorcycle (with a bomb in it) right over the top of the pentagon (coz he's cool like that) and the gas tank explodes and gears fly out.
LOL great work keith. ^_^
