A collection of the paintings I did for my beginning painting class. Top being the first, bottom being the last. I also got 2 photos in there of my painting class; I did not paint those lol.Used a few references on these pictures.

Hey. I see an Van Gogh and a Yabba (does, this is written right?).
One of my favorites is the picture on the left side - middle. The woman with the dark, shaded face half. It looks beautiful and kind a impressive. Was it also a reference for that other painting (the face in grey, white and black) ?

It's actually Jaba but don't worry about it lol. Yeah good work, I actually manipulated the b/w painting at the bottom in photoshop and painted off that reference.

Seriously? My painting teacher try to give us the edge because he knows we might all have different styles of painting and no style is better than the other.

You should try it, it's a ton of fun My teacher helped me out a ton in improving, it's not as hard as it seems, really!

The best way to approach it is draw in pannels or planes/shapes, and then add details as you go on.
