Description
Fuzzles (c) *GibbyGibsonSo many people have asked me, “How do you make those Fur-Balls???” ((with some variations in the wording)) And I want to be nice to each one, but this is not something I can just state out how I make them. So, I have decided that I would make a tutorial on how to make them. I think that I did quite well on this, being my first Tutorial and all, even if I did try to add too many images in it. I did my best to sorting and making it easy to understand and read. If you have any trouble with this, or something is just confussling you, please let me know, and I will help you as much as I can.
[UPDATE]
OK, I have noticed quite a few spelling errors. I will get those fixed when I can. I also wanted to add one last thing. This is an optional aspect that I did not put into the tutorial.
If you want to have your Fur-Balls eyes to be in some sort of an emotion, then when you first create the first eye, before you duplicate it and merge them together, erase part of the eye to make the emotion. Then, when you duplicate it, before you merge them, go under the [Edit] >> [Transform] >> [Flip Horizontal]. That is to make sure that both eyes are proportional. Then, you can merge the two eyes together.

I'm not sure with GIMP. I don't have the program, nor use it. Some people have said they've tried making them with GIMP, but that's about it. I don't know how though. Sorry.

My marquee tools have been messing up lately. When I use the rectangle, it has rounded edges, and all of them don't colour in with a solid colour. Oh well, I still tried. Very neat and super fun. ^_^

that is bizzar on the rounded edges and not filling with a solid colour.
But at least you tried it. I like to make them, though I have not made one in a while. It is about time for anther one.

Liquify??? Wow, that would take a long time, at least the way I know how Liquify works it would. But alas, no I do not use that feature. I go an easier way.

Thank you. I worked hard on that tutorial, trying to make it easy to follow, yet giving the necessary information as well. I am really proud of it, even if right now it is a little out of date. I may try to make another one with the new additions that I add to each Fuzzle in it. Maybe.

very good tutorial...seems lots of people really like your fuzzle series, anda re tryign their own takes. Very nice of you do put up this tutorial ^_^. I shan't be trying it though, i havn't got photoshop and i can't be bothered to work out how to make them in other programs

Thank you. Some people are really secretive when it comes to how they make their images. I want to see what other people might be able to come up with if they try to make one. I just gave the basic understanding on how I found out how to make them. However, this is a little out of date now. I have added a few details to the Fuzzles sense then, so I might make another one, some other time.

Okay, I'm going to try this using GIMP instead of photoshop and report back to you if you'd like to make a tutorial for GIMP.

GibbyGibson In reply to zgirldiva [2005-03-05 02:48:11 +0000 UTC]
Well, I do not know anything about GIMP, but I apreciate the gesture of trying it out. I know that GIMP has some of the same features of PhotoShop. Who, knows, maybe they are almost identical.
Thank you for your kind words, and your williness to try this in something other then PhotoShop.

It's in my gallery, 'Fuzzball,to Gibby' is the title!
