Description Although this is a well known GPMG, I'm still doing the MG42 and its derivatives(there are still more derivatives of it actually lol), given the GLK mannequin community does shitload of German uniform posts. (No offense to GLK base users though)

-MG42 is a German General Purpose Machine Gun developed by Mauser during war-time of World War II. It was considered the most deadly Machine Gun in WWII due to its very high fire rate of 1200-1500 rounds per minute, which gives more effectivity at suppressive fire. Early production has a horizontal charging handle, whereas the latter or probably the "common variant" has the iconic vertical cylindric charging handle.

-Post WWII, guns from the Third Reich were still used by both Germanies, MG42 is favoured by West Germany to be extensively used. But, they have to adapt to NATO's 7.62x51mm cartridge. This is where MG1 was born. It also eventually evolved into MG3. It has reduced fire rate for better control, and changes in furniture.

-Ameli is a Spanish Light Machine Gun developed by CETME, based on the MG42's design. It has significant design changes, chambered in smaller 5.56x45 caliber, and a shortened barrel.

The moment you hear the sound of chainsaw, the late you realize that you're at death's door.
