I used an AT-8/7 as reference for the superstructure, on afterthought I should've looked more at the Mk IV's sponson guns and other WW1 tanks for inspiration. I need to read more about WW1 tanks, come to think of it xD

In my honest opinion, the length of the vehicle must be considered. Minus the top casemate, I think the main body could house a longer, bigger caliber gun such as a long OQF 17pdr. High Velocity gun like the British Archer Tank Destroyer.
On that note this thing looks beautiful.

Why not put sponsons where they were supposed to go on the original design and keep the 17pdr turret? More dakka, more better.

Back to serious - I'll try it in future, I did attempt it once but the hull looks so slim! Maybe it's just because it's so long, it felt like the sponsons were going to be scraping along the ground >.<
But I'll definitely have another go~
