asked how to use Flash and I found this tut I made a few yrs ago for (which should explain the EdXSasuke and the EdXRoy's arm) Jpeg quality's pretty bad cos I had to shrink it, watch if u need,
CLICK THE DOWNLOAD DEV BUTTON or some of the actionscript will not work...

Hey, um, do you know what version of Flash you have? Nowadays you search Flash and all that comes up is this unbelievably complicated Flash Professional CSsomethingorather bullcrap. Your version looks like the type I would want... :d S'okay if you don't know, I was just wondering. :d

I know your asking the owner of the deviation but i thought i would step in and help, Flash CS4 or whatever number just signifies that they are a newer version of the older versions. It still has everything the older versions have but it has more things and also makes it easier.

You could use a trial if you want or you could find an older version that doesn't have code protection. they are all over the internet. I got my version at a students discount because I learn it at school but you don't have to be a person learning to get the discount, all you have to do is go to school. XD I hope you'll find a version.

My big question is, for stop motion animating, do you animate everything then colour it? How do you keep the colour consistent? That's the big thing I am having trouble with...

eh?? you use fill bucket tool and just use the same colour XD do outlines first then just fill everything later XD

what bothers me is that I have to draw with the icky paint brush because the pencil tool will never allow me to fill color anything D: any tips?

yes you can fill with the pencil, you just have to make sure all borders are touching or make the paint bucket tool have a fill gap option, when you select fill tool on the bottom of the tools panel is a button to let you fill spaces that have gaps,

then started my animation

I just saw a hint of the play button then my animation went on >.<
So yah...what do i do after making the play button should i make another layer?;O
