I woke up and blinked rapidly before I began clicking uncontrollably like a chicken

Weiss saw this, and masked a snicker finding it amusing. Even reaching into her bag to toss a couple of bits of candy as if it was bird food.

Weiss snickered at this before she held her fingers. "Now then, stand and sleep." She said with a snap.

"No problem~" Weiss said as she displayed an ice sphere out of thin air that began to shine a variety of rainbow colors before your eyes.

Indeed, and it has a certain gleam if you stare deeper into it."

I stared deep into it to look for that certain gleam

"That's right, just relax and really stare deep into it. You'll see the gleam, I am certain of that much. Just relax and stare..." Weiss said with a subtle soothing voice.

The source of Weiss's frustration, a girl with bright pink hair, had suddenly cut her off. Strutting across Beacon's campus with her eyes glued to her scroll, she seemingly still hadn't noticed Weiss until she protested. She girl slowly looked up, seeming to have just noticed her.
"Apologies, I didn't mean to...Oh!" The girl's eyes, bright pink as her hair, lit up in recognition. "Well well, Weiss Schnee, if I'm not mistaken." This, coupled with the friendly smirk she suddenly adopted, seemed to indicate a familiarity between the two, though Weiss couldn't place the girl.

Weiss had an eyebrow raised, though her focus was more on getting back to her feet than anything that did with the girl. But upon the girl calling out her name she did gaze upon the pink-eyed girl with matching pink hair as her eyebrows frowned a bit. Something seemed...familiar about this girl, but for whatever reason Weiss could not place her finger on it till a light bulb went off.Β
"Say...have we, I feel like we've met before. At some charitable parties or something." Weiss said as it seemed she didn't have the precise details about it but she did recognize you in any event.

The girl offered her a hand, surpassing a bit of giggling at the sight. She gave Weiss a moment to recall who she was, finally just shaking her head.
"I suppose I'm not quite as memorable as I thought. Blossom Cheresha. You're on the right track, we've exchanged greetings a few times, usually at your father's soirees. Surprising to run into you here...though now that I think about it I might have heard something a few months back about you attending Beacon." Blossom clarified. Truthfully, she was well aware that Weiss would be at Beacon, and in fact that was the whole reason she was here. Befriending Weiss was a step towards fostering closer ties between her family and the Schnee Dust Company. So, whether she liked it or not, Blossom was now halfway across the world to befriend a girl she barely knew.

Weiss took a moment to think over the name, and that's when it all clicked. Blossom Cheresha. Weiss remembered those soirees and now felt a great shame of guilt as she seemed to have just momentarily forgotten that; even if they were not the best of friends or anything to that degree as Weiss accepted Blossom's hand.Β
"I see. My dearest apologies Blossom. I am usually good at keeping names to faces of those I exchange greetings with. I guess that fall just now fizzled my head there. Again I am quite sorry." Weiss said in apology as she wanted to own up to forgetting her quickly as to not be judged for it. Or perhaps this showed what effect Team RWBY's time with her had on the heiress and her willingness to recognize and own up to a mistake on her end. Though Weiss quickly focused on her comment about going to Beacon.Β
"Indeed, came here to become a top huntress. Have had a good time so far, a few early bumps in the road notwithstanding..."Β

"Easy there, I can't exactly blame you. I'm just the girl you exchange greetings with a soirees before moving on to the next person, and I doubt you expected to see me here of all places." Blossom replied, quite taken aback by Weiss's apology and friendly demeanor
"I suppose that's why I'm here as well. It's not exactly the road I expected to walk, but here I am." Blossom's lack of enthusiasm was evident. She had little interest in attending Beacon or even being a huntress at all, not that she was unqualified of course. Weapons were her family's business after all, and she certainly knew her way around them. The thought of wielding them as a huntress had never occurred to her though, yet here she found herself, pursing just that for the sake of advancing the family.

Indeed, Blossom's appearance at Beacon had been a rather curious one. She never came off as someone who had a desire to be a huntress form their, admittedly brief, interactions in the past so her showing up here and now seemed a bit on the unusual side. Something that dominated the heiress' thoughts as she decided to inquire about it.
"Indeed, never would have expected to see a soiress girl want to be a huntress. When did you develop the desire?" Weiss asked Blossom, as she also had taken note of the rather lack of enthusiasm behind her explanation for why she was here. Something that Weiss was also curious about but had yet to make a direct comment on to this point.Β

Blossom hesitated in her answer. She wouldn't mind having a chance to vent about how she ended up at Beacon, yet openly telling Weiss that the only reason she was here was to befriend the heiress for her family's benefit didn't seem the best way to kick things off.
"It was a...recent development. If you really are curious I'd love to catch up and discuss things, but maybe somewhere a bit more comfortable? I'm still getting used to heat here, and for the moment I've had quite enough of it." Blossom suggested. She was still mulling over her plan, but it would almost certainly be simpler to have Weiss somewhere alone and private rather than standing about in the middle of Beacon's campus.Β
