Weiss thought over Blossom's suggestion, and while she was a bit curious why they couldn't just talk now Weiss went on the assumption that Blossom was being genuine with her; after all Weiss had no reason to assume that Blossom would not tell her the truth on the matter and climate differences between her home and Beacon seemed plausible enough.
"Alright, that sounds fair to me. Currently my dorm happens to be free. Two of my teammates are off with members of Team JNPR exploring the cafeteria and plan to hang out at their dorm for the day. Another is gonna be doing an all nighter with Team CFVY in the library." Weiss explained as these would leave Ruby & Yang as well as Blake out of their hair respectively which would open up a free space for herself and Blossom.

Blossom nodded, grateful that Weiss understood. While she did have plans for Weiss, her desire to get in and out of the heat was also the honest truth. She fell into step beside Weiss as the two of them headed back to the dorms.
"That sounds perfect, it'll give me a chance to see the dorms. I haven't been assigned a room or team yet, as I said my entire move here was somewhat sudden. What are your teammates like, if you don't mind me asking? And I suppose I wouldn't mind hearing about things here in general." Blossom asked. Beyond making conversation, Blossom was truly curious about Beacon. She was a student here now after all, even if her reasons for attending were less than noble. And one way or another she was going to be spending a lot of time with Weiss from here and out, so she might as well start learning about Weiss's friends.

As Weiss walked, she thought over Blossom's question that concerned information about her team. A simple enough question she supposed, though she had to be mindful to give brief bios as they approached the dorms.
"Well, our leader is Ruby Rose. She's the youngest on the time, and can act with the immaturity at times that comes with that. Very high energy girl, with a love of cookies. But in spite of all of that...I have come to see her as a surprisingly strong leader and a friend I am more than happy to go to battle with. Her older sister Yang is a bruiser, with a more "fun loving" and in my view irresponsible personality. Also makes, terrible puns. But is very loyal and a good friend through and through. Blake is a bit more reserved. A bookworm by nature who is cool and composed in any situation. Probably the most level headed member of the group, with an odd quirk or two." Weiss explained as she arrived at the dorm door and opened it as she made the motion for Blossom to enter as if giving her the invitation.

Blossom walked alongside Weiss, nodding as she spoke. It seemed to be an interesting group. She was slightly surprised by Weiss's praise of them, Ruby and Yang especially. She and Weiss weren't exactly close, but she knew enough about the girl's upbringing to recognize that these teammates were likely far from what she would be used to.
"I see. And you all more or less get along? Forgive me for saying so, but it seems like that would be quite the transition for you." Blossom said,, nodding politely at Weiss as she entered the room.

Weiss had a frown on her face, as she closed the door behind her and entered the room after Blossom over the mention of it being a transition for getting along with Team RWBY. Something she could not protest as she let out a sigh before she faced Blossom.
"Indeed, it was. I didn't get off on the best foot with anyone. Even insulted and questioned our leader and made a rift in the group." Weiss admitted, showing some regret over it.

"But you're all getting along now, yes? If anything it's impressive that you've apparently adjusted so well. I confess, I'm still unsure just how I'm going to fit in here." Blossom added, fully meaning her praise. She understood quite well how different things were going to be for her from here on out, and the fact that Weiss adjusted so well was admirable.

Weiss smiled at Blossom's comment, as she could sense she meant what she said and it was nice to hear support on the matter.
"Thank you, and yes we do get along better. Just had to learn to trust my teammates more, and we found a way to mix in our talents to make a cohesive units. If we can work with each other, you can fit in easily enough." Weiss assured Blossom as she felt it was only right to offer her support.

"Let's hope you're right. I haven't actually met my team yet, transferring here in the middle of the year and all."
Trailing off, Blossom looked around the room. It appeared fairly standard, aside from a few signs of Team RWBY's unique quirks.
"I assume my room will be something similar to this. It's...a bit less than what I'm used to, but I guess I'll make due, not that I have much choice. I have to ask, the beds, they don't...that's not standard here, is it?"

"Oh, n-no no. We made some...custom remodeling when we were given our dorm. I'm sure yours will be in much better condition. Believe me you will not need rope for you bed I assure you of that much." Weiss said, as she quickly wanted to assure Blossom that she'd likely not deal with the unusual circumstances or design choices her team had made when they got their dorm.

Blossom let out a sight of relief. "That's good to hear. No offense, but living in the dorms is already going to be an adjustment. This...would be a bit much. Although..."
Blossom cocked her head, allowing herself a small smile as she looked up at Ruby's rope suspended bed. "It is an interesting design choice. One of your teammates came up with it?"

Weiss glanced up as Blossom cocked her head, right at Ruby's bunk which had been suspended over her own bunk with rope as Weiss turned back to Blossom and let out a sigh.
"It was...Ruby's idea. The dorm wasn't the best condition when we got it and...she had a "creative spark" as she'd phrase it. Being team leader...it wasn't worth it to argue about something to stupid." Weiss explained with a tired sigh.

Blossom's gaze lingered on the hanging bed for a moment, as if still taking in that someone came up with the idea. Finally she lout out an unexpected giggle.
"Ruby...she was the 'high energy' one right? As team leader, I'm sure she had her reasons for the idea. It's creative if nothing else. Oh, would you mind if I sat down?"

"Not at all, not at all." Weiss said, as she had no issues with Blossom sitting on any of the beds and desired to have her new friend here comfortable.
"Yeah, she is quite the energetic one. To say the very least, this was one of many ideas she bounces around." Weiss added on.

Blossom nods gratefully and takes a seat on Weiss's bed, looking up at Ruby's hanging precariously above her.
"It's quite a sight. Not something I would have seen back home, that's for sure."

"Nothing Beacon has seen either if I am to be honest. A Team RWBY signature, for better or worse...." Weiss replied with a slight nervous, if not amused chuckle as she moved to sit next to Blossom. Careful to give enough space for Blossom out of respect.

"Ah, you mean this school isn't just filled with that sort of creative insanity? Even so, I imagine it's less stuffy and formal than things are at home. I guess that might be enjoyable. I can only attend so many parties or listen to someone go on about my family's newest product for so long. I'm sure you understand the sentiment."

"Oh believe me, I can relate to that so much. In spite of the certain....insanity that being a part of Team RWBY brings if offers a fresh dynamic in my life and quite frankly a break from the usual formalities. An appreciated one I think."
