Ruby, seemed rather sad at that. Her frown increased. But then listening to Aurroa insist this was a little change and that she would feel just as good as Aurora and Weiss felt. That it would all work out. Eventually Ruby conceded and gave a nod.
"I see, I...I understand. I will change. Be calm and docile, not energetic...not excitable...if...if that makes you happy." Ruby said, with a tone of regret though she shook her head and focused on Aurora's hypnotic eyes and smiled a small smile. Allowing the hypnotic suggestion to take shape and reprogram her mind to fit Aurora's desire.Β

Aurora let out a sigh of relief as Ruby saw the light.
"It will Ruby, you're making me so very happy right now. I promise you'll love the new you, you'll love being my calm and docile friend." Aurora assured her, offering an encouraging smile. Not that Ruby would likely notice it while wrapped up in her eyes.

However, as Ruby smiled, Weiss seemed to have a frown on her face. If only for a brief moment. Perhaps wondering what the new Ruby will be like, and whether she'll ever get to see the old one back.Β
Or her old self for that matter. And indeed Ruby had not noticed Aurora's smile as she smiled dumbly while allowing the hypnotic light to wrap her up all the more. Pulling her deeper and deeper under Aurroa's influence.Β

Aurora failed to notice any discontent was Weiss as her attention was focused solely on Ruby. The girl's smile helped ease Aurora's doubts, convincing her that this had all been worth it. She'd been able to gain two new friends today, friends she was sure would always be their for her.Β
"Now Ruby, I think that's about enough of the oh so pretty colours for now. Time to wake back up so we can officially begin our new friendship." Aurora said, slowly closing her eyes and looking forward to meeting the new Ruby.
(Her heart is in the right place...you know, kinda sorta...)

Weiss continued to have that conflicted, dazed, mental debate as Ruby offered a tired nod and began to shake her head as her eyes fluttered and returned to life. Soon enough Ruby saw Aurora and offered a friendly smile.Β
"Oh, hello there. How are you?" Ruby asked Aurora with a more relaxed, if not docile turn than before which showed the effect of the trigger.Β
(Changing someone's personality permanently to fit her specific desire is not what I would consider having a "heart in the right place", though I can kinda get why you'd make that claim.)

"I'm jut wonderful Ruby, I should be asking how you're feeling. I just know we're going to get along perfectly from now on." Aurora replied, now completely at ease in Ruby's presence. She slowly embraced her newly modified friend, eager to put the last few minutes behind her.
(I was mostly joking. Yeah, rewriting someone's personality isn't exactly a great decision.)

"I feel wonderful Aurora. So nice, so tranquil." Ruby said with a smile, speaking with a more relaxed tone. Not that Ruby had been necessarily incapable of toning it down before Aurora's entrancement but the lack of energy and excitement which showed the difference which would only please Aurora all the more.Β Β Β

"That's so good to hear Ruby, I have a feeling you'll be much happier from now on. Wouldn't you agree Weiss?" Aurora asked, still holding Ruby as she turned to acknowledge Weiss for the first time since Ruby's adjustment.

Weiss, still with a frown on her face, had her thoughts interrupted by Aurora as she quickly put on a false smile before her loving friend.Β
"O-oh, I agree. Ruby will be...so much happier. Like this." Weiss said, her voice trailed off as there seemed to be something that was on her mind or troubling her in some fashion though what it was escaped Ruby's notice or knowledge.Β

(I know the feeling. Like I said though, no need to feel obligated to reply to me right away. If we're not both enjoying ourselves then something isn't going right.)
Aurora took notice of the frown, but was far to excited to press the issue. Her success with Ruby had put the girl on cloud nine, and the idea that her first and dearest friend Weiss might not approve barely registered to her.
"Of course, who wouldn't be happy having friends like us? Now I believe you were showing me around your dorm." Aurora said, looking from Weiss to Ruby and back again with an eager smile.

(Thank you, I've said it before but that does mean a lot 
"Y-yes...of course. As you can see these are our bunks. Ruby had a rather...special modification she made for them." Weiss explained as she showed the two pairs of bunk beds. One had several books stacked between the top and bottom bed to act as "support" while the other, Ruby's bed, was tied to the ceiling with rope and suspended above Weiss' bed. Ruby seemed to frown at this.Β
"Oh my, I really may have gone overboard with the set up. For some reason now, i realize how...silly this bunk bed modification was." Ruby said, her calmer and more docile mind speaking of newfound...possible shame over her bunk bed modifications which caused Weiss to frown once more. While Weiss had been one to eye roll at Ruby's "modifications", they were something she had gotten used to and...and just something that highlighted Ruby's energetic creativity. And the team's as well.Β
So seeing Ruby's near 180 turn on it had been...disconcerning to the heiress.Β

Aurora wasn't quite sure what to make of the beds. It was...interesting to say the least, though it didn't appear overly safe. Further proof than she was helping everyone by adjusting Ruby. What finally caught her eye were the stacks of books holding up Yang's bed.
"Oh my. Is...is this how books are treated here?"Β Aurora asked, clearly distraught by the sight. She craned her hide to make out titles on the spines of the books, recognizing several of them and lamenting their unorthodox use.

"Well, not all of them. Just the ones needed for "support", the others you can find on the booksshelf right over there." Weiss said as she identified the book shelf in question which showed Team RWBY's rather extensive collection.Β
And by "Team RWBY" what was meant was Blake's collection. Something Weiss clarified.Β
"Most of these belong to another teammate of ours. Blake. She is a book enthusiast to say the least." Weiss clarified, and if nothing else showed the bond they had the willingness of Blake to allow books to be used as support for Yang's bunk was a testament to that.Β

Aurora had dashed to the bookshelf even before Weiss finished speaking. Her displeasure was quickly forgotten as she perused the selves,Β a smile growing ever largely as she nodding approvingly. She would finally look back at Weiss and Ruby, cradling a book from the shelf as if it were the most fragile thing in the world.
"You're friend has quite the collection, not to mention excellent taste. Sorry for that...little outburst." She said, embarrassed by her reaction to the bedding arrangement. She slowly stood up, beaming down at the book that she clearly considered a rare find

Ruby and Weiss had to admit, Aurora's mad dash to the book shelf had been unexpected to say the least. While neither could make any fair judgement calls, it appeared their new "friend" had a love of books that could rival Blake's own. As evident by the way Aurora seemed to cradle one of the books like it were a small child.Β
Though in truth, but found it a rather cute sight.Β
"Indeed, I feel you and Blake would get along well." Weiss replied, and it was true. Though they had no way of total awareness of their entranced state, the fact was Blake might appreciate another book lover and vice versa. Something Ruby was quick to add to.Β
"Yeah, you'd be total BFFs." Ruby replied, though even with her word choice kept the same docile tone rather than the bubbly energy she would have normally made a statement like that with.

"Do you really think so?" Aurora asked, giving the matter some thought. She hadn't really planned on expanding her circle of friends any further, but then she hadn't planned on accidentally hypnotizing Weiss or Ruby's sudden arrival either. If Blake shared her interests perhaps they really could get along. It might be nice to spend time with someone who wasn't conditioned to love her. Well nice and potentially terrifying.
"Maybe...you could introduce me? As long as one of you is around I guess it would be okay..." Her usual shyness began to seep back in, even when speaking to the girls she held in her thrall. A part of her was actually looking forward to a chance to meet this bookworm, but being alone with a stranger was probably still beyond her.

Ruby and Weiss, bound by love towards Aurora as they were, listened towards Aurora's request and quickly knew they had to support Aurora then and there. Which was simply enough, given this was likely something Ruby would have been eager to do regardless of being entranced or not.
"Sure, that sounds lovely. And we'll support you every step of the way." Ruby said with a more refined, docile tone as per usual now while Weiss soon nodded in agreement.Β
"Indeed, I have to agree with Ruby. You two would hit it off well, and we'll be there to make sure it does not lead to any complications." Weiss added on, the support of Aurora's spellbound "friends" all too clear.

Even if their feelings towards her were nothing but the product of her semblance, Aurora couldn't help but tear up a bit at Weiss and Ruby's support. It felt sufficiently real to her, and that was all that mattered.
"You'd really do that for me? Wow, you really are the best friends a girl could ask form." Aurora said, wiping her eyes a bit. Her words were tinged with genuine emotion as she allowed herself to indulge in the fantasy of truly having loyal friends.

"Of course we would do this for you, we'd do anything for you. What are friends for?" Ruby asked with a smile, before she and Weiss walked forward to Aurora and offered friendly hugs in support of her to go along with their verbal commitment to being with her during this process.Β
The irony of all this had been, had Aurora simply opened herself up to the two, they might have been willing to accept and help her all the same. Ruby especially, but it seemed her personal insecurities made her unable to have considered that possibility.Β Β

Aurora hugged back, feeling so very loved by her friends. This only convinced her further that what she'd done to them had been totally worth it.
"I'm so lucky to have friends like you, and I can wait to be friends with Blake as well." She said, the irony of the situation completely lost on her. Comfortable as she was with Weiss and Ruby's implanted feelings for her, the idea of potentially having a genuine friend in Blake was certainly appealing. From what Ruby and Weiss said about her it did seem like they'd get along.

Ruby and Weiss hugged back, the irony of the situation quite frankly lost on them due to their entranced love for Aurora which only caused those sincere words as they enjoyed this warm embrace with their new friend.Β
"And we're sure Blake will be just as excited to be friends with you." Ruby reassured.Β
"Indeed, just as we are." Weiss added, her hypnotic influence speaking up though she and Ruby wore complimentary smiles.Β Β

"I guess I'll rely on you two to arrange it then. Well one of you at least, the other can stay here with me." Aurora said, seeing no reason not to have one of her friends at her side. Now that Ruby and Weiss were hers she'd never need to be alone again.

Ruby and Weiss glanced at each other, Aurora's request sounded reasonable enough to them as Ruby had a small smile on her face.Β
"I could go and ask Blake to come here, she's at the library, though I might need a little time to convince her to break away from her reading to meet you. Though if I have that I'm sure I can get her on board." Ruby explained to Aurora as she waited to see if she approved of it.

Aurora smiled, quite pleased that Ruby was so eager to volunteer.
"That would be wonderful Ruby, I'm sure you'll have no trouble convincing her. And I'm sure you want mind staying with me while she's gone, will you Weiss?" Aurora asked, turning to Weiss to seek what would almost assuredly be her approval.

Weiss smiled in response to this, and quickly gave a nod to Aurora.Β
"Of course Aurora, I wouldn't mind that in the least." Weiss said, as she gave her expected but much desired approval towards Aurora as the plan seemed to be set in stone. Ruby would go and get Blake while leaving Aurora and Weiss alone in the meantime.Β

"We have a plan then. Ruby you can go and get her whenever you're ready while Weiss keeps me company. Oh I can't believe I'm going to have a third friend." Aurora said in delight, excited by the very prospect. She was still nervous about meeting Blake, but felt she could get through it with her new friends by her side.

"Alright, I won't let you down." Ruby replied with a calm tone before she walked out of the room which left Aurora and Weiss alone. Weiss had taken note of...of Ruby's lack of pep which caused her to frown amazingly enough before she shook her head and turned to Aurora with a smile.

Aurora smiled at Ruby as she left, completely missing Weiss's less than pleased expression.
"Isn't this wonderful Weiss? Three friends, I'm going to have three friends." Aurora said cheerfully, her smile wide. Before today the lonely girl could have hardly imagined the idea.

Weiss smiled at Aurora, even with her feelings about Ruby's change she was happy to see Aurora had been happy. Likely a result of her own entranced loyalty towards Aurora.Β
"Indeed, and I like that you are happy. You and Ruby seem to hit it off well. W-well, least the new Ruby..." Weiss said, making a reference to the alteration of Ruby's mind though she did frown at the thought. Showing the side of her who missed her energetic friend remained all too visible for Aurora to notice.

Aurora raised an eyebrow, curious about Weiss's reaction. She'd hoped Weiss would be just as pleased by the new Ruby as she was.
"Don't you appreciate the little changes Ruby underwent? She's much easier to deal with now. And remember you did sort of ask for it." Aurora said. It wouldn't do to have her first friend being upset, and she was sure Weiss would come around.

Weiss seemed to have a divided, indecisive expression as she was asked of this. As part of her did not want to upset or disappoint Aurora. Quite the opposite of the friend she admired and wanted to make happy, but there was a certain thought she felt was only fair to share.Β
"W-well, I do enjoy she is a bit more...controlled than per usual. And I-I did have some desire for Ruby to mature a little. Less chaos, but it's just..." Weiss started to say, biting her lip as she had a look of shame while avoiding eye contact as the slip part of her actual personality spoke up for her.
"...just, it's just. This calm, controlled docile girl is...is nice but...but it's just not Ruby." Weiss admitted as she waited to see how her beloved Aurora would handle that.

Aurora was unsure just how to respond. She loved the new Ruby, and she'd been so sure Weiss would too.
"Oh, I-I see...You're not happy with what I did? I mean, she's...she's still Ruby, she's still your friend, our friend..." Aurora protested, fidgeting nervously. This wasn't how things were supposed to go. She'd hoped to never have to feel nervous around Weiss again, but somewhere along the line something had gone wrong.

In an instant, Weiss' eyes seemed to lovingly daze as the look of concern on Aurora's face was heartbreaking and the heiress quickly began to backtrack.
"N-n-no! N-nothing like that just..." Weiss said, biting her lip as the part of her loyally entranced and in admiration of Aurora tried to figure out how to put these odd feelings in words that would hopefully not upset her.
"...just, just not used to her like this. It's almost like she's a new person, b-but not I'm sure." Weiss "clarified" as she did not want to disappoint Aurora by thinking she hated what Ruby had become, even if there had been a part of her who felt the change was more than "different."Β

Aurora was instantly relieved, Weiss's backtracking being enough to soothe her worries for now.
"I...guess I can understand. Maybe just give it some time to get used to her? If not I can always try changing things a bit. I want you to feel comfortable around her Weiss, we should all feel comfortable around our friends." Aurora said soothingly, seeking to ease her friend's concerns. She was working so hard to build her little circle of friends, and if Weiss wasn't happy she was eager to fix any problems.

Weiss, in part due to the reassurance given by Auora to change Ruby a bit if needed but mostly due to her own hypnotic desire to see Aurora happy, felt some relief at this as she offered a nod.Β
"Y-yeah, only fair to give Ruby's new...attitude a chance. I want all of us to be comfortable with each other to." Weiss replied as it seems she was willing to try and look past that part of her mind who sensed something wrong with Ruby and move forward.Β

Aurora beamed at her as if nothing had ever been wrong, pulling her friend into a hug.
"I promise you Weiss, you can learn to love the new Ruby. We'll hall be so happy, just you wait. And if you ever feel like anything is wrong, you can just tell me Weiss, and I'll make sure it all works out." Aurora said, so very happy that the matter was, for now, behind them. She truly believed that Weiss could come to accept things, the new and improved Ruby seemed perfectly content, and she felt increasingly confident that Blake would make the perfect addition to her circle of friends. All seemed to be going well.

Weiss smiled as she gave a comforting hug back towards Aurora. Her hypnotic influence allowed her to soak up Aurora's words much like a sponge as she began to believe them more than more. Yes, so long as she trusted Aurora and remembered to come to her to make any changes she remained uncomfortable with then everything would work out and they would all have a good time together.
"Yrs, I understand. Thank you." Weiss said with a smile as her doubts seemed to ease over this.Β

Aurora felt rather proud of herself as Weiss seemed to accept her words. It felt good being someone others came to with their problems like this, instead of always being the one relying on others.
"Maybe once I'm...well once I'm comfortable with Blake, you and Ruby could spend some time together. I'm sure that the longer you're around her, the more you'll grow to love the new Ruby, trust me." Aurora assured her, resolving to ensure her first friend was happy, no matter what it took.

Weiss continued to listen towards Aurora's comforting words, and while the idea of spending more time with Ruby in this altered state of mind had been in part divisive to the heiress her loyalty and desire to make Aurora happy meant she had been more than willing to give this a chance as she gave a nod to her.Β
"That...that would be nice. I hope things work out for the best and Ruby becomes someone we both can enjoy." Weiss replied towards Aurora with a small smile.Β Β

Weiss's smile seemed to urge her on. Oh yes, Aurora definitely enjoyed this feeling. Weiss was trusting her to make sure everything with Ruby worked out, and Aurora didn't intend to fail her.
"She will be. You, Ruby, and I will sit down together after I've met Blake, and I'll make sure you're both perfectly happy." Aurora replied. She hesitantly reached out and patted Weiss on the head in what she hoped was a comforting gesture.

And indeed, Weiss had seemingly accepted this as a comforting gesture as she smiled when Aurora began to pat her head. Both this action and her words having done much to calm her worries down. Though how much of that was genuine reassurance versus her hypnotic desire to see Aurora happy was impossible to know.
"Yeah, that would be nice." Weiss said with a smile and hopeful tone to her voice.

Aurora merely smiled, immeasurably pleased with herself for, at least as she saw it, having solved the issue. Ensuring later that she and Weiss could both be comfortable around Ruby seemed an easy trifle to deal with.

Soon, the pair would hear a knock on the door which seemed to signify the return of Ruby.Β
"Aurora, I have returned. And I'd like you to meet a good friend of mine..." Ruby said with her newfound docile and controlled tone before she opened the door and indeed Ruby Rose and Blake Belladonna as they soon entered the dorm as Blake eyed Weiss before she glanced back to Ruby and then shifted her curious gaze to the new girl who was this Aurora Ruby had mentioned.Β
"Hello there, I take it you are Aurora? Ruby has told me quite a bit about you." Blake said as she assumed a friendly tone.

Aurora's newfound courage began to vanish at the sight of this new girl, and she found herself nervously clutching Weiss's arm.
"Y-yes, I'm Aurora. And...you must be Blake?" Aurora asked quietly. She took a deep breath, trying to steel herself. She'd been assured that she and Blake would get along wonderfully, and she had Ruby and Weiss there with her. There was nothing to worry about...was there?

"It's okay..." Weiss whispered as she offered Aurora comfort much as Ruby did as she walked over to her while Blake observed the scene and noted a few things.Β
Blake took note that Aurora seemed to be a more shy girl, which to a degree she could understand given Blake herself had not been the most social girl herself for the longest time. Blake also took note that Ruby and Weiss seemed rather supportive of her and...incredibly comforting. Blake decided to not dwell on that for the moment as she gave a small smile to Aurora.Β
"Indeed I am, so Ruby tells me you are a literature enthusiast?" Blake asked, as she figured talking about something they supposedly had in common would be a fair ice breaker.Β Β

Aurora glanced appreciatively at Weiss, giving her arm a squeeze. It really was easier with her and Ruby around. It hadn't yet occurred to her that Blake might find their behaviour odd.
"Oh y-yes. I was actually admiring your collection earlier..." Aurora replied, the shift in subject seeming to help her. She glanced towards the bookshelf with a small smile.

Indeed, seeing Ruby and Weiss so close to Aurora and overly support her had been a bit unusual; especially coming from Weiss, though even the naturally supportive Ruby seemed to be less energetic & peppy than per usual.Β
Though Blake disregarded that as Aurora shifted the subject and her gaze towards her bookshelf which actually made the normally stoic Blake let out a small smile.Β
"Thank you, I try my best to find a wide range of them, I'm happy you seem to like them. Most people don't share that same value." Blake admitted, as while nobody in Team RWBY hated books having someone who shared her passion for them had been welcomed.Β

"I know just what you mean. No one ever seems to understand how much I love reading!" Aurora exclaimed, overjoyed that Blake shared her hobby. Perhaps she really had found a kindred spirit?Β She blushed as she realized just how passionate her reply had been, shrinking back just a tad.

Blake said as she glanced at Ruby as she and Yang had a habit of using her books for fort games or other activities. Blake expected a sheepish grin and apology from Ruby as given that she knew Ruby meant no...
"Oh my dearest apologies. Well I will let you both know I'll never do something so silly with books you and Aurora enjoy so much." Ruby said with her newfound docile tone. Which had caught Blake off guard a bit to say the least. Not just the words she said, but also the tone she used.Β
