Description
Under the looming threat of either Staevik or Xenos invasion, the NUSSR, a disliked communist minor faction put a call out to the confederacy to join as a member state, offering to provide military and economic support. At first the Confederacy waved the idea away. Being on the other side of the Free colony Zone they neither saw interest in venturing out that far, nor wanting to associate with yet another communist nation, as those already serving as member states weren't looked upon very highly either. However, upon closer examination, the NUSSR had just provided them with a tactical and locational advantage to set up a hub on the other side of the Free Colonies to bring in many other nations Fearing Xenos or Staevik attack. Knowing full well that the Xenos would not want to attack the Confederacy to bring them in on the side of the Terrans, they would have nearly free reign to act how they please over there. The only other threat would be the Staevik.

So on a nearly unanimous decision, the confederacy quickly dispatched envoys to meet the soviets in their turf.

It had been about 30 minutes of near dead silence. Well. Almost. The only guy that actually spoke decent English was currently hitting on his partner at the end of the hallway. The other two spoke a long-dead language from Earth. The broken english they did know was so hard to understand that it was almost painful to the ears to hear. The one on the left pulled out a long cylindrical item and a lighter and proceeded to light the tip of the rod. It smelled awful and made the air stale. Malcoy coughed after inhaling some of the smoke, trying to hold his breath everytime the one of the left would exhale. He could hear Alleigh snicker in the background to something to trooper currently hitting on her had said.

"Why you come with no good armor?" the One directly across from him had asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Confe-drah-see has many enemy, yes? Could be attack."

"On ne mozhet ponyat' vas" The one on the left said exhaling.

"We heer of Hees-par-ee-an Com-wealt attack you much." He said again. His accent making it even harder to hear.

"Uh... S-sure?"

"They come heer we keel them. Is why have good armoor and gun. Not leetle baby wapon." He said pointing to the compact carbine Malcoy had slung around him.

So who joined the setting and brought his faction, the NUSSR to it, decided to try and ally themselves with the confederacy, which originally the confederacy probably would have ignored. But then he decided to try and outright join, which in a move would allow the confederacy to establish a wing ont he opposite side of the FCZ, on the other side of Xenon.
He asked for a pic of Soviet Soldiers and Confederate soldiers doing something. But since the confederacy isn't really engaged in anything other than crappy boring ass diplomatic missions, I figured this was the best I could get.

ANd ugh. that background. I did like 5 iterations of it.. >.> I hate boring ass hallways... they're so plain and lame..
