Archie Comics "Sonic the Hedgehog", November 22, 1992–July 19, 2017*
So yeah. End of an Era, huh? Supposedly IDW will be publishing a new Sonic book soon (www.newsarama.com/35534-sonic-… ), but I find it doubtful it'll continue the story or characters of the Archie book (though honestly, given the space between the Archie book's cancellation and IDW picking up the license, one gets the sense this has been in the planning for a while, so who knows....). Still and all, it's just so strange to see such a constant in my life, as a Sonic fan and a comics reader, just...up and vanish like this. But if nothing else, it's nice to remember the good times.
Originally made for the 30 Minute Sonic Art Challenge on Tumblr (30-minute-sonic.tumblr.com/ ), so apologies if it seems a bit rushed, but I knew I had to make SOME kind of tribute to this long-lived classic.

(*we'll politely ignore the fact that the comic stopped publishing new issues in December of last year and was only "officially" cancelled this week)
