Description
Sorry! I had 3,500 pixels left full of stuff, but then found out that DA's maximum pixels allowed it 9,000x12,000. I had 15,500. A lot had to be sheared. But I don't think it will make much of a difference. Basically it was an optimistic "Go you" the rest of the way! Still... go you!And my second tutorial is done!
This one took longer, probably because it is physically longer! Anyway, it is here to help you guys who want to make stamps on paint or paintbucket!
I hope it help!
Thanks to AvatarSpirit.net for the screenshot! I always forget to thank them. So thank you!
You can find the stamp made in this tutorial >>here <<
I hope you like it!
EDIT: I humbly stand corrected. I told you to save it under .JPEG file format... save it under .PNG. JPEG never hurt my files, nor have I noticed a deteriorating difference to my stamp after saving it as a JPEG, but others feel PNG is better, so use PNG! I used PNG now just out of habit.
EDIT #2: (9/13/13) Closing the comments because this is very old and probably not applicable to whatever version of paintbucket exists today. Also, the comments were starting to get snarky and rude and I don't have time for that.

Can you give me a little more information than that, so I can help you a little better? What are the steps you are taking? Are you dragging and dropping the picture? Text, templete, etc?

Really? That's strange... let's try a different tactic... highlight the stamp template you have chosen to help make your stamp and then press "Ctrl" and "C" at the same time to copy. Then go to your paintbucket window and press "Ctrl" and "V" at the same time to paste. Give that a try, it should work!

Hey, I'm glad you found it helpful!
I'm a little confused as to your explanation of what may have gone awry. So, you deleted the actual text, or the entire text box or the text toolbar? Knowing this might make it a little more helpful for me to explain.

Monopolymoney37 In reply to Golden-Flute [2008-09-05 21:44:17 +0000 UTC]
I deleted the text in the box i made The "A" is still there if that's what your asking....
(feels like a noob)
Also.........Wouldn't word work for this? Just moving and pasting and resizing pics?

Golden-Flute In reply to Monopolymoney37 [2008-09-05 21:53:27 +0000 UTC]
Ah, I think I get it. To get rid of the A, you need to erase it. There's really no other way to get rid of it. And to type something else again, you need to create another text box.
And Word wouldn't work for making stamps. Word is a program for... well... words. You can't save your work in Word under a file that would show pictures on DA. It needs to be a program (like Paint, or Photoshop) to create picture-like things.

Oh, good! I'm glad I could help (as much help as I was)! Good work on the stamp, but it's a little difficult to read. I think the color and the background are too close to the same color to be completely readable! But hey, live and learn, right?

The text box is that Capital A letter thing right?
Also, I can't seem to be able to switch/ adjust my font. What should I do.
Please explain...um in detail..
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Golden-Flute In reply to Akiharo [2008-08-28 05:32:19 +0000 UTC]
Yes, it is the capital A button.
When you create your textbox, a little strip toolbar should automatically show up with it. If it doesn't, click on "View" and "Text Toolbar". It should show up and that's what you use to change font and size.
Just play around with it and it will probably work. Paint is not an intricate program!

Yeah...I went to the view menu...but my Text Toolbar is grayed out...
Now, what do I do?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Golden-Flute In reply to Akiharo [2008-08-28 07:05:58 +0000 UTC]
It's because you haven't selected an area with the text button yet. When you select an area with the text button, it will show up.
