Description Sorry! I had 3,500 pixels left full of stuff, but then found out that DA's maximum pixels allowed it 9,000x12,000. I had 15,500. A lot had to be sheared. But I don't think it will make much of a difference. Basically it was an optimistic "Go you" the rest of the way! Still... go you!

And my second tutorial is done!

This one took longer, probably because it is physically longer! Anyway, it is here to help you guys who want to make stamps on paint or paintbucket!

I hope it help!

Thanks to AvatarSpirit.net for the screenshot! I always forget to thank them. So thank you!

You can find the stamp made in this tutorial >>here <<

I hope you like it!

EDIT: I humbly stand corrected. I told you to save it under .JPEG file format... save it under .PNG. JPEG never hurt my files, nor have I noticed a deteriorating difference to my stamp after saving it as a JPEG, but others feel PNG is better, so use PNG! I used PNG now just out of habit.

EDIT #2: (9/13/13) Closing the comments because this is very old and probably not applicable to whatever version of paintbucket exists today. Also, the comments were starting to get snarky and rude and I don't have time for that.

Like the artist's comments say, I use PNG now, so it doesn't really matter, especially since I don't really make stamps anymore.  Thanks anyway

Thank you so much for making a Paint stamp tutorial! I tried stamps in photoshop and gimp, but this looks much easier. Thank you!

Thanks so much! I prefer using Photoshop for stamps since there's more room to make mistakes without destroying your work, but Paint is definitely the simpler program! Glad I could help!

Wait a second... O.O

You mean... dA's maximum pixels allowed are 9,000x12,000?

After all used we can't make anymore?! O>O...

Yet... I still don't understand... What is 9,000x12,000? Yea I'm a KID

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Golden-Flute In reply to ILuvVegeTarbleTrunks [2012-05-20 07:55:00 +0000 UTC]

No no, each deviation cannot exceed 9,000x12,000 pixels. This is probably to insure that someone doesn't try to troll the site and make a picture so big that it crashes computers when they try to load it. 9,000x12,000 pixels is the size of the picture itself... it can also be translated into inches.

Golden-Flute In reply to TheWolftears [2012-04-15 15:03:13 +0000 UTC]

Glad you like it!

It's fairly simple, but it does take some playing around. Go to the page with your stamp and scroll down until you see the box labelled "Thumbnail" or "Thumb". Copy the code that is a series of numbers between two colons. Then go to your journal and paste the code in the area that you want it on your journal! ^^

Golden-Flute In reply to REROHAN [2012-01-11 20:53:39 +0000 UTC]

You need to be a paid subscriber to DA first... meaning you need a * by your DA name.

It seems like Windows Seven paint doesn't have a transparency button.
