Description
A Pzkpfw-IV Ausf.G from an unknown unit on the East Front, spring 1943. This is an early example of a Pzkpfw-IV fitted with Schürzen skirts albeit only on the turret. Many Pzkpfw-IV at this time would have turret skirts without the corresponding Schürzen for the hull sides, some ,like this one, wouldn't even have brackets installed for the hull skirts to be hung on. The color scheme of this vehicle appears to be a heavily worn layer of dark yellow (RAL7028) and the only markings consist of a small tactical number in red or black and a balkeankreuz on the vehicle's superstructure sides and rear.
