Updated Aug. 2015Serious Mr. Darcy and witty Miss Bennet are my most beloved fictional couple. I've liked them since primary school, when I saw a play of Pride and Prejudice the older kids put together. I drew them for the first time in 2006, so you see, they were overdue for a makeover.

Ah, I thought I recognized the characters! One of my most favorite movies/books/stories of all time. Wonderful work! I love all the detail in it. Her dress, the curtains in the background...it's all just really well done.

Mr. Darcy and Miss Bennett look quite lovely. This is one of my most favorite novel and I think I've seen every version on the bood tube including a really really old one that had a very young Sir Laurence Olivier! Loved them all.

I thought it was sweet. I never knew who he was, until that movie. Didn't know he was so gorgeous; he was just a name. I think I saw it on a classic movie channel one night. Hopefully it will come back soon. But must warn you, the ending with Lady Katherine was different from the book. The most faithful version was one created by A&E with Colin Firth. I have that on DVD.
