Description
Whoo hoo~ watermelon cane tutorial! I decided to make this since I was planning on making some watermelon earrings anyway, so I might as well~ you will need a lot of translucent clay for this, so remember to stock up!If you want more seeds then you'll need to do waaaay more than what I showed in the tutorial. I like them without seeds personally so I only put a few just to show how it would look.
If you have any questions I'd love to help, so just hit me up!

this is nice!
but i think you should use a little less "skin" and put the stripes the other way for a more realistic look? :3

Yeah, I agree there. This is only my second time making a watermelon cane so every try it a learning process. >D This is more to illustrate a basic method and shouldn't be 100% followed, haha. I feel like every time I make a tutorial I sit back and go "oh wait, that could have been done better!" So even making a tutorial to teach I'm the one who learns something.

It's more important to be simple than professional-looking. It's very useful to see beginner mistakes, too. I'd like more tutorials to explore a skill by showing all the ways you could possibly imagine screwing it up.

That's very true, too. Edison said it best right?
