Last commission of a gryphon from Gryffs.com in my stack of things to do!This is for Tangent(#321) ( ) of her epic battling gryphon, Judgment Dragon. She wanted a plain background with an eclipse similar to a wallpaper available on Wajas.
Ironically, she was also the first person ever to commission me to draw a gryff!

Also, I would suggest moving the picture from a background a little to the right.
It's a bit awkward that there is less space from where the character faces than the back. Let some space so it wouldn't give a sort of 'trapped' feeling

Thanks! Ooh, you know, somehow it did get a little crowded. And, derp, I've known *for years* about subjects needing more space in front of them than behind them! lol. I simply didn't notice this time. (That's why it isn't good to finish/post art while half asleep!) I'll definitely fix that up when I get on tomorrow or something. Normally I actively check for that exact thing. lol. Thanks for the pointer!

THAR. Made it so he's not running straight into the edge of the painting while a huge crevasse loomed at his tail. And you were right, it had been a while since I uploaded last! Tornados and such came through here and some of my free days have been spent at my parents' place helping. Lots of cleanup to do.

Oh geez D: Tornados always scared me ! We had one last summer and it passed form ust a few streets away form our house. Their roof and trees all came off D:
