Hello, there, and thanks for viewing my concept sketches!

Dani is a character from a Yu Yu Hakusho fanfiction I am currently embroiled in—and I say 'embroiled' in all seriousness. I update with no fewer than 3,000 words a chapter (recently I've gone no fewer than 5,000) and I update on Tuesdays religiously (to the point where I stay up til midnight on Mondays to post as soon as I can). Dedication is my middle name, it seems, but my readers are wonderful people so I enjoy every minute of it. =]

You also get a taste of my lovely (joke) handwriting in this picture. I don't have a scanner so I had to use my wonderful roommate's camera to post this. I'll brighten the image up in photoshop at some point =]

Since the things I wrote on the paper itself are nigh illegible thanks to the aforementioned handwriting, here's a readable (and updated) version of what I said/wanted to say:

+ She's not supposed to be pretty. Maybe cute in a waifish way, but definitely not pretty.
+ I imagine her as thin and somewhat bony.
+ I always seem to picture her with pigtails! Her hair is always messy and in her eyes.
+ She has lots of hair (with some vague waves going on) and really big hazel eyes.
+ She's short (semi-stunted growth) and she is not very proportional.
+ Her typical outfit is shorts and a tank-top.
+ She tends to wear her clothes a size too big.
+ Her new body is one she borrowed from a dying shape-shifter. It looks like a cross between Gollum and a character from a Noh drama.
+ It's emaciated, creepy, possibly lacking in the eyelid department...
+ Dani is not a fan of her new body's true form and tries to hide it when possible.

Also, it might be good to note that I'm more of a writer than an artist, so please go easy on my enthusiastic scribblings! Hope you like it, though. Also, this drawing of Dani is not perfectly what I see in my head. I view things through her eyes (yay for a first-person perspective!) so I don't actually think about what she looks like too often. I want people to see their own versions of her in order to relate to her better.
