Yes it's not quite the same as how it looked in the story. They didn't just have a verbal argument while Jazzal kept eating
But this is J8d's imagining of how the fateful events began. There'll be more to come, focusing on the outcome of this fight. For those who don't know what this is - this is part of Chapter 23 of Reunification, in which the face of the battle against Barasia is changed forever.
