Dig xD, like ive said, as long as you get hold of WOOD, and you get sapplings so you can regrow trees if they are scarse, you win at minecraft, as simple as that.

I'm not kidding you, but in adventure mode, I spawned on an island. Β All there was were flowers and a hole to a cave. Nothing around me but water. I have no idea how it happened.Β

xD Ive spawend on a twoblock island in the huge sea one time..had to swim for 4 nights.Β I starved down to half a life left and finally found some cows when I reached land.

Haha! You have more persistence than I do. I just looked around and was like "Screw it." Log out. New world. Bam! I still kept it though just for giggles. Maybe I should go see how long it takes to get to mainland. Have you gone back to the island via boat and gone in the other direction to see how long it is that way?

I always tend to start all the maps i play the Same way! another really useful thing about digging into the side of a wall to make a house is that you get a crapton of cobblestone/Gravel! O3O

When you found that cave, how many monsters did you have to slave? I tried to mine to a lava level ones and found a huge cave! there wasn't much than stone around... There was some lava thought but I didn't want to risk my life to go down 'cause down there was huge punch of all monsters from skeletons all the way to enderman. And I know that when there is more than one enderman... You better back down for a while and come back later... Do you have a good advice how to defend yourself the best from the monsters? From my world I haven't found much any iron so I have been able to do only leather armor to defend myself.

best way to defend yourself against monsters is diamond armor and weapons xD

How did it go?
Last week an enderman came into my house at night when I was awake. I got a strange panic attack and hit the enderman with bare hands. I died in four hits! xD

xD they area easy to take when you know how. if you stand under 2 block areas, they cant hit you

how long does it normally take you to find diamond...? I've went all the way down to lava level like, 4 times, mined there and no diamond whatsoever. ;~;
