Oh wow, I love this, it helps me with creating actually good characters... and I have felt the pain of someone stealing my work (no matter that it's terrible) ;^; I come up with characters in Art class all the time but some people like stand over me and take my ideas saying it's theirs. They even showed my characters to the art teacher and he said the characters were so unique and I was literally crushed inside, then I tried to the the teacher that they were my characters but he didn't believe me T_T and now they took me out of the yearbook as the "person who'll grow up to be an artist" T_T it's terrible T_T but, thanks for making this anyway :'3

You know, I've never seen anything like this... "Rabonird" XD before. I wasn't on DA for a looong time (2 years probably?) but I was drawing all the time and trying to invent something original. Well, I guess I wasn't that original at all because I created him: [link]

I usually don't have issues with mine... except my fursona. I mean... some, sure, but I am at least happy, and they don't look like exact copies most of the time. (Because I always make them from my head. Often very little influence.)

But... she's changed a lot from her original. Much more complicated than she was before (much like my older sonna), but she has a lot of elements I like. Unfortunately, my love of rainbows could classify her as a "sparkle dog", which she isn't really. Seriously... I like rock music, hate fan-girls, dresses, and make-up. The rainbows thing is just... well, my love of bright colors. :3

I love how you reused the rainbows on her spots and her hair, makes her well thought out ^^ same with the green stripes

Yeah; the green stripes were taken from her old design, but turned brindle, because they were terribly tacky otherwise.
And the hair? I started putting rainbow bangs on her way before I ever changed her design. I just thought it'd look better if she had them naturally rather than by chance. (Or hair dye!)

You see, the problem is that i think my character is "bored".

sorry.. i don't want to sound rude, but you are telling other to be "creative"? or how to be creative?
imo you can't tell someone, just because its no wolf with adds, its creative, lol srsly..
if they want to draw this, then they should draw THIS it's art in anyway, if its a normol wolf or a SUPER CREATION WITH WINGS AND CLAWS AND STUFF AND SPARKLEEE i think thats not "more" creative either.
but your right with copying other and let your chars seem all the same somewhat. ^^

People need to stop thinking adding things to natural character is less creative than just using a normal one. It depends on how you do it really, im just sharing my way to do it :3
