Description
Gentle: N-n-no p-p-please... S-s-stop! *Weeps and covers his eyes, he lays against the ground in a completely disengaged position*Bully: Haha, Derpydew always so clumsy! *laughs* Why are you always s-s-s-stuttering? You're so weird!
Gentle: *Completely shut down, weeping* Mamaaaa! *He sobs louder and louder*
Bully: Aww, little derpdew wanna cry for your mommy? Haha, such a whine baby! Look at Dew! What a whiner!
*Rainbowdash enters the playground premises to pick up Dewdrop from daycare. She observes something happening in the distance and walks over to it*
Dash: Huh? What's going- *Sees Dewdrop sobbing in the middle of the ring of fillies* DEWDROP! *she runs over to him and immediately curls around him in safety*
Gentle: *Still sobbing* Mommmyyy! I'm okay m-m-ama *sobs* I-'m-m-m okay... *sobs*
Bully: *laughs* What a whiner. I thought for the kid of a wonderbolt you'd at least be able to fly, or to even form a sentence!
Dash: *Springs up in rage, wings in the air* How DARE you! Get away from my son! I will drop you on the ground RIGHT NOW if you don't back off! *begins to tear up, she yells as hard as she can, her voice cracking* Get AWAY! *She flails her wings forward and the bullies run* And if you EVER do this again, I'll make sure hurt ears aren't the only thing you'll be getting!
Gentle: *Extremely uncomfortable with the yelling, he sobs again* M-m-mama p-p-lease s-stop!
Dash: *Immediately attentive, she whips around, tears in her eyes* Ohcelestia, Dew I'm so sorry. *She embraces Dew*
Gentle: I want them not h-hurt b-because I'm d-d-different, m-mama. They r-right 'b-bout me.
Dash: No no, *She brushes her head against him and tries to calm him down* You're no different than them, they just make you that way... You're still my little Gentle Dewdrop. *tears well and a few drop* I'm sorry you have to go through this Dew... I'm so... Sorry...

Gentle has Autism, and that was very VERY hard for Dash to get around- especially in the younger years when bullies were plaguing his life. She would get furious at the bullies and say horrible things, and threaten violence, but Gentle knows he's different from them, and accepts it and he hates when his bullies get threatened because one, he's a kind hearted foal, and two, he feels responsible for those threats and fights because he knows it's caused by his difference. He hates his difference, so he doesn't talk, doesn't even attempt to fly, and plays by himself. Dash is mostly oblivious until events like these occur.
Yep, done for the night, hopefully I can sleep now...

Poor kid. I can kinda relate to this, growing up with (albeit mild) autism. I didn't really have a lot of problems with bullies but there was always that sense of being alone and feeling like I had no friends. Middle school (and now high school) don't make it any easier.
