A style study, featuring Gerou struggling with student teaching!

I've always struggled with conscious stylization; when learning to draw people, I was more focused on trying to do it "right" (e.g. finding a balance between 'correct' anatomy and the limitations of my abilities) than on trying to intentionally pick what looked good to me, or on what made things easier to draw.

So! Last October I decided that I wanted to explore how different artists that I like handle stylization and simplification in comics. (I figured it might be easier to start by studying others than by reinventing the wheel, hah.)

("I'm not going back" I say abt. the joys of stylized hands, and then, promptly forget... habit is a hard thing to break. :'D)

I looked into studying a few more styles than these, but these folk are the ones who gave me permission to post the results. I recommend checking them out!
