Sonic in the Star Light Zone again!I was never really happy with my first SLZ picture, it looked really ordinary to me, and Sonic's pose wasn't the greatest. The SLZ itself is also problematic in moving into 3D, because it's like, well, what do all those roads look like? So in a way, this one is really unfaithful to the level art itself 'cuz I took so many liberties with it.
And then the city is all big and right up front...

I love how the scenery and loops blend with the rest of the artwork, it's very unique and very intriguing to gaze at. The shading, in my opinion, finishes the final touch of the work and makes it a masterpiece.

I think you did really well, especially with making the loops on angles instead of straight, that was a good idea! This picture makes the Starlight Zone look challenging, and if I remember correctly, it was.

Now THIS zone I liked! Lots of fun! (except for thoes teeter totters with the spiked balls) I must say, despite the fact that I live and breath Sonic most of the time, your art manages to fill me with a great feeling of nostalgia. Cudos.....*sigh* The 90's...

Your portrayal of Star Light Zone is excellent. It's very heartwarming to see sonic looking the way he should.
Now if only Sega would get a grip and make some Sonic games that had a style similar to what you've created here...original sonic, original sonic style zones and platforming.........REAL badniks run by little animals. And Boss fights WITH robotnik (or silver or metal sonic at the end if they must.)

I love all these little game scenes you make. Even more as they're from the old games. It looks great with your cartoon style and the colors are both very simple yet realistic. Is like watching a cartoon or reading a comic with great art!

Yep, the best sonic games were the Sega games, (for the most part.) Great job with the fun perspective in all of these. Not to mention the skill you have as an artist. Very nice.

The SLZ floor you did is very cool; having it the same color as the visible wallsΒ΄d have made the composition look a little boring.
...And donΒ΄t worry about the background being front, think of it as those mountains from Super Hang-On that youΒ΄ll never reach

This is absolutely brilliant! I love the robotnik signs, really adds to the effect and also reminds me of all the old japanese ad campaigns for Sonic 1.
