Description
I guess the thought of painting it excited me. so Here is the digital painted version. I dunno if having Feanor as a blonde is right since most depictions I've seen so far portrays the elven prince as having dark hair...removed some of the details though (tower, dead guys, flag) but addd Gothmog's Flame sword... which unfortunately does not stand out
Fastest I've worked so far on a digital painting, and 2nd time on Painter... color corrections on Photoshop

He was famous to have raven black hair. While others are usually described having them just dark, here Tolkien left the exact description. And bright eyes, whatever one understand as bright 
As for Gothmog's sword - I noticed it after I red the description. Hmmm, maybe use some other hue in lights? I have problems with colors myself, but I think a light in opposite hue might work here

I do not know these character. Afflicted. But the result of toon work is very impressive. For me, that would be a suicide to try similar.

Yup, It's a Balrog... his name is Gothmog, the lord of the Balrogs back in the First age of Middle earth... of course I had to base it on Peter Jackson's version
