Description
My home is pants optional. My chosen option is 80% of the time "none."
Lounging is jeans/any kind of pants is extremely uncomfortable and how any of you people can do it I will never, ever understand.

I will often take one shoe off and be distracted for hours without remembering to take the other one off or finish changing my clothes. Being unfocused is a fine art.

That would totally happen to me if I didn't take off my shoes immediately as I came in the door. xD But I know it's happened in the past... It so easy to get distracted!

I prefer either wearing boxers and a t-shirt or underwear, shorts and a t-shirt. Maybe socks if I like to skate around the hardwood floors for the lols.

In the winter time, socks on hard-wood floors = awesome.

HAHAHA.
We are the same. xDDD I feel the saaame waaay! Home life = SWEATS. THAT IS HOW IT IS.
A whole day spent in jeans is just considered criminal in my book. Though ironically, I'm still wearing jeans now. But I spent half the day in sweats and I'm about to get into my ultra-comfy workout clothes to do a little walking. ;D
When I lived alone, I almost always wore no pants at all. Then, when husbando got home, I was forced to put on at least sweats...or face the consequences of partial exposure.

If it's chilly, sweats, if it's warm, undies; that's my attack plan. lol
Oh god, some days when it's almost time to go home I think about and RELISH the idea that soon I will be able to remove my pants. And then I rip them off it great vigor. I don't work out so I don't even have super comfy clothes that don't get in the way or make me trip... lol
Silly men and their visual natures. Don't know what I'm going to do when I live with someone, I won't rightly want to change my behavior but I wouldn't want that kind of attention at all times either. xD

AMG. That was me today. I was like, "I can't wait until I can go home and take off these blasted pants!!!"
Visual natures for men are nice...but only 40% of the time. The rest sucks balls.

I don't wear jeans; don't even own a pair. CARGO pants is what I wear, and I find SHIRTS are more optional than pants. My roomies disagree, but I'm definitely "the special one" according to them. Mind you, I'd just as soon show off my pectorals than my crotch. LMAO

Well I'm talking ANY pants. Given the option, my underwear is the most preferable choice. And well, since women can't just go around bare chested I sort of need to have a shirt on in case someone comes to the door... lol
People that feel you need to have clothes on at all times are so weird... :U

HAHA well, only because there's this stigma about women going around topless. But yes, the less one wears, the freer one feels, at least in my opinion.

Sure, I mean I don't care if women want to do that, but I don't, because I know assholes will stare. And I call them assholes because they're just boobs, nothing special. People make a big deal out of nothing...

INDEED. I think its just the novelty, i mean, its not like people see them ALL THE TIME... except in pornos, lol. BUT ANYWAYS! Do what you will, ya only live once, so go for the gusto!
...or something like that. LOL

My opinion is if women we allowed to walk around topless eventually no one would care. The whole mindset is built up from the fact that they're somehow different from men's pecs because they're bigger and squishier. It's just weird to meee.
I might go topless on a beach where it was allowed, but other than that, don't want the staring. -__-

I can't give enough shits to do that, even when I'm back with the parents. Though it does suck when someone wants to do something and you're all gross in your underwear and have to be like "GIMME AN HOUR, GOTTA GET READY..."

ah I hate not being dressed up. (when going out)
jeans and a t-shirt seems so bleh. I miss my nice stuff and my neon colors. most of my stuff didn't fit anymore and had to go. now Im back to building a wardrobe again.
I'm pretty quick doing my hair and make up. and since most of the shit i wear is black I kinda just do a blind grab annnd done!

I only dress up sometimes... Usually jeans and t-shirt are enough. But I'm just very lazy.
Well to be honest I don't take a shower if I'm not going anywhere... So after someone calls and wants to go out I have to do that and then my hair. I don't wear make up most of the time so that helps.

I don't like lounging in jeans either and I admire your policy. But me, I just have to be fully clothed all the time. If I'm at home you'll almost always find me in long pajama bottoms and varying shirts or jackets depending on the weather because I'm so cold-natured.

I live alone so I can do what I want. Back with the folks it's sweat pants or pj shorts. I used to lounge in underwear there but then my dad started with "IF I CAN'T WALK AROUND IN UNDERWEAR YOU CAN'T EITHER" so I conceded...
But yeah I always have a shirt on unless I'm sleeping. It's easier to throw on pants to answer the door than a shirt AND pants.

I don't think anyone in my house really cares what I wear (or don't wear), but I always border on freezing because it's winter or the AC is turned up, so clothes it is.
Oh, but it would so much more interesting and entertaining to answer the door without either... LOLXD

uuurg I hate when the AC is on so high it's freezing. I keep mine low, that way I won't make my glasses fog up when I leave/come back. Also I like a little warmth.
It certainly would! But I saw that CSI episode where a gal did that once and ended up DEAD soooo.

I'm a cold-natured person surrounded by the hot-natured and it almost always sucks. My hands are like ice while I'm typing this.
Well, that was just TV... What are the odds something like that would actually happen to you if you did that? Surely not that high, right?

And here it's just my dad not wanting to spend money on anything. ANYTHING. I have to live under five blankets in winter-time. I don't mind the 80F in summer though.
Okay, but she was also raped. And while I may not get murdered that's a bit more likely. If I had a better chance of beating the shit out of people that threaten me I might not care as much. lol

M591 In reply to gutter-child [2011-10-02 22:02:30 +0000 UTC]
I know all about the blanket-stacking and wearing layers. The funny thing is that I'd much rather live farther north than where I am now because I prefer the cold. Summers here are so sweltering. With heat, there's only so much you can take off before you've got nothing left and you're still burning up.
I don't watch CSI, so I didn't know about that detail. Yeah... you want to avoid that. Gonna have to bulk yourself up for better ass-kicking capabilities.

gutter-child In reply to M591 [2011-10-04 13:42:41 +0000 UTC]
Well, you'll have to go pretty faaaar north because even Toronto gets 90F and higher in the summer sometimes. You literally would have to live on the tundra or something. Or Iceland. I wouldn't want to live too far north because over 6 months of winter would really start to wear on me...
Better safe than sorry!

I was thinking of going above the Artic Circle, or at least Alaska. I like Iceland too- always wanted to see Reykjavik. I love winter and I like being inside, so as long as I didn't have to go out into the weather a lot or for extended periods I could deal with it.
Most definitely.
