With the new Ghost In The Shell Paramount film coming out end of March, I was really excited (and fortunate!) to get an opportunity to create a paid work, just to show my own take on the theme of Identity in this franchise that I've long been a fan of.
This is the initial value sketch to setup the lighting and composition for the piece, let me know what you think!

But she's not Naked in the Anime. I wasn't Β talking about this pic comparing to the movie in the first place.Β

This really inspires me to work more in black and white. The chromatic abortion gives more of a impact in a colorless piece. Β

Awesome! I like how motoko on the left looks more robotic, while motoko on the right looks more human and alive. I don't know if this was intentional but I'll mention it anyway: but the bridge nose on the motoko on the left is more straight, and het chin protrudes less than compared the one on the right. The only one that's a bit more distracting is the nose difference - it makes the one on the left look a bit less like motoko. In all honesty the one on the right looks exactly like motoko while the one on the left doesn't. You can disregard my comment if it was intentional, it's just what I noticed right away.
Can't wait to see the final version!!
