This is such a neat concept. Very nice job with colouring/shading, again!

The outline is as transparent as the rest of her. I get what you're saying, but I'm afraid that might make the image more confusing. But thanks.

I love the pic. Is the double image intentional, or part of your watermark on this one?

Gwennafran In reply to AsryaKino [2007-10-20 18:59:36 +0000 UTC]

It's intentional. She's an echo.

what a sad story. I really like the picture though

Heh, can't help laughing over the scroll with the name echo. They sertainly couldn't have called that horse anything else ^^
A great idea for concept card not to change the names hehe..

Note: I sort of assumed that Echo was so unusual that no doubles would be make.

i think they have started to give me the obscure characters... Not that I really mind.

heheh.. yeah well.. they did change one of your northern lights to Danu.. We can never know what they'll do..

But the NL edition wasn't as "top controlled" as the AL.
At NL we were supposed to tell Gitte what horses we would make, and when she'd keep tap on it. So my guess is that she simply forgot the rather obscure Rhiannon was taken by me, and then Louise probably made her without consulting Gitte and send her in.
And I'm guessing first come, first served.

There was a number of coubles at NL... I think that's where they really learned the lesson and realised that they had to TELL people what to make, if they wanted to avoid doubles.

Like said: At AL I got papers with the characters they wanted. The one character I didn't got time to do (Fortuna) wasn't made at all (instead I wanted to do Epona, which they hadn't considered as a goddess).
So like said, I'm very certain they from the start knew exactly who should make what at AL.

Well, I got a bunch of papers on with the characters they wanted me to make. So I wasn't afraid to actually call her Echo, since I assumed that the names were final.
