Description
Is...is this a job for human rights activists or for PETA?Okay, this is something that has bothered me for years, and in all sorts of medium.
So I'm furnishing my little Animal Crossing cottage, right? But I don't know if I'm comfortable with keeping a caged canary (which is a furniture item) in the window when my next-door neighbor is a talking, four-foot-tall robin.
It's the same thing in what was one of my favorite childrens's show, Arthur , too. He's got a little pet dog, but one of his best friends is also a dog. And it happens again with Goofy and Pluto of the Disney universe; both are dogs, but they live in different castes of domestic hierarchy. What is this?
And when you encounter this sort of thing at such a young age, it's...I don't know, it's just crippling.

oh I get what your saying. I had the dog house once in my house and it happened to be that Bones one of the dog characters that used to live in my town came over for the flea market...yeah I felt bad about that...even if he is just a pixilated character it makes you think about these things....the odd thing though, was that he asked to buy it...whatever. I just miss him, but I have Lucky now so its all ok.
Oh, and I have a giant Robin in my town too, his name is Jay.

I wondered about that, too.
Like, a few of the characters are frogs (Jeremiah, Puddles, etc.) and yet, you can catch frogs in the ponds and stuff.
I always wonder if they're somehow related..

I ALWAYS WONDERED THE SAME EXACT THING.
And come to think of it, birds can't control their bowel movements. Sesame Street would have been a lot more interesting if they'd been that realistic.

They should let us have pets in the next Animal Crossing. Like "interactive" pets.
And if a neighbor (who is a dog) sees you walking a dog, they'll run up to you, and talk like they're offended (with Resetti-like angry thunder sounds), and storm off spurting there little "angry cloud" over there head.

HAHA!
Man I have been saying that for years. Everyone I know says, "shut up, it's just a show." Well I have never found a shocking enogh way to make people realize the oppression!
Until now.
A brilliant comic to display a classic non-sensical situation.

And how about on Rocko's Modern Life, when he has his pet dog Spunky, when pretty much half of the population of O-Town is pratically consisted of dogs! Or the animals in the Zoo, Giraffes in Conglam-O, etc. Creepy...

I've always made the same question.
How can anhropomorfic characters have pets?
There's a show on Discovery Kids (in latinamerica at least) where a pig owns a farm and he has a cow, and his friend is a bull!
But, but, seriously what the hell!??

when you have a game universe in witch the ones for activly take a few hundred 10 years olds pit them against each other untill only a dozen or so remaine then brainwash them. fill them with growth homones and training that would make specail forces bleach untill there 8 foot supersoldiers who calmy buther there own familys without secound thourght then after all this there STILL considered the good guys compared to everyone els
you just stop thinking about the detailes
