At long last, it is here! As I mentioned someplace before (maybe even multiple times, I swear I am going senile sometimes. And 40 is still a week away!)
there are reasons it's been lagging lately.Yep, excuses, they keep a-comin'. But seriously...
I have gone over and over how to wrap up this comic. I think, in all, four different endings were drudged up in the last several moths. Endings are a big deal. I want to make it end, but end in an open-ended kinda way (you know, sequels and all). And as said, the sequels will not be the long, rambling escapade that this comic has become. I am hoping for Compozerz II something like 40-50 pages at most.
But back to this story. I hope I threw you all for a loop. Many of you guys had ideas (all good ones, I might add!) of why the Guys were tossed in the slam. Well, I decided to go with the fourth of my idea endings. Compozerz got doppelgangers!! Or at least, it seems so for the time being...
Anyhow, it should pick up now that I have straightened out in my head (finally) what will wrap this all up. Thanks again for sticking with me on this! This story has really become my baby and I want it to end just right. But leave a bit of a cliff hanger so y'all will come back for Book 2.

Well, all you need to finish is a bit of free time and the motivation to sit down and complete it...!
(Okay, both of those things are actually pretty dang hard to find these days--free time? Motivation? Practically another language!)
Heh, it's both of those things that have kept me from working on comics...
Joey's got like 15 issues [330 pages] of AROTD waiting for me to get my rear in gear, but I've just been kinda stuck, teetering on the brink.
I get excited...I WANT to work on them, but when I don't have the TIME I tend to fall into a spiral of thoughts something along the line of "what's the point?" I know I don't hate my art so much anymore, I KNOW I could do it justice. So what am I so afraid of? I don't even have to worry about an update schedule--Joey says finish a single issue first and we'll see where it goes from there. (He's even bribed me with the idea of being able to see them self-published once they're all drawn up and ready to go!) I just don't know what's keeping me in place...

I got the idea looking back at some old Compozerz drawings, then strangely enough, the movie "Ernest Goes to Jail." I found the thought of Ernest having an evil twin fascinating. The old COmpoz drawing that made the light bulb go off was the one I did years ago of them as bikers.

You know what they say, whenever a counterpart is encountered they either have the same personal histories (the original and a counterpart sharing the same spot in space time) like in Star Trek Voyager when there were two identical ships and crews (ending with devastating results for one) or like in Back To The Future Part 2 where two duplicates of Marty were in 1955 but each one interacted with the environment differently from the original, or they are downright rotten like you portrayed the doppelgangers here.

Whoa! Was NOT expecting THIS. Looks to me like they have look-a-likes that are wanted criminals. Has to be, since the boys only recently "time traveled" to the area. Not 15 years ago.
So this is the end of this chapter? This wraps up the current story? What a cliffhanger this is for sure. Well, I've enjoyed the ride over the last five years. Can't believe it's been that long that this comic has been going on. Always look forward to the next page. I'm looking forward to Compozerz II very much so. Please don't keep us waiting too long.

I've got a real solid plan now, (or more solid than it has been, ran into that pesky writer's block), so I should be crankin' em out more steadily now. Plus I have found a way to introduce a new female character I came up with awhile back. The story needs more GURLZ, dang it!

Oh yeah. I sure do remember Frannie. She had come up a few times over the years. Felix's older sister. She's quite a character. She definitely needs to become a regular character in the comics for sure. And that would be awesome if Iris can make some appearances as well.

Yeah, and Frannie is a more "girly" gal. One thing I noticed about most of my female characters is that they are tomboys, like me (and Connie, and Iris). I think a girl character that is the polar opposite of Connie will be really fun to introduce into the story.
