Description And here's the "Connie" character from the Compozerz. She's the next door neighbor to the Guys, and is helping them out since they're displaced in time (hehe)

The Compz live in apartment 307 and Connie's in 308. She's obviously based on me--tomboyish, draws, loves the outdoors and reptiles, and wears tie dye. The baseball cap is my favorite that I wear all the time (it's got a Grateful Dead Steal Your Face logo on it).

Connie's profile's coming up soon.

She almost resembles Wanda MacPherson from Baby Blues

I envy your skills. I want to draw cartoons, but every time I try to draw a cartoony face, it always ends up looking more like a manga character.

Anyways, "Connie's" lucky that gets to live next door to five of the greatest composers that the world has ever known.

Here's a technical question: when you do the orignial artwork, what size is the paper you do for the strips and the portraits? How do you scan them? Do you have a big scanner that accomodates large artwork? Or do you have a standard size office scanner? Just curious, and wondering how the wizard works her magic. Thanks!

I use 8.5 x 11 bristol board to draw on, and it's just a regular old scanner. Cheapest one I could find. Scanjet 3010 is what it says on the lid.

Nuttin fancy!

Bristol board? Is that better to draw on than paper? I usually draw on an 8 1/2 by 11 copy paper or in my sketchbook. Does bb take erasing better? I erase all the time.

Awesomeness! Love the colors--must be fun to color tie dye! I think it'd be really interesting to live next door to the Compozerz...to say the least. *I foresee zaniness* (heck, if you have your hand in it, there's BOUND to be some crazy comedy!) *lol*

At first I thought you were reffering to Chopin, but now I realize you love Mendelson. As Emily from classic SNL used to say, "Never mind!"

Hmm, you're a hippie living next door to a bunch of displaced classical music composers? Who would've thunk?
