I have decided to keep sort of a journal. I often listen to American Top 40 from the 80s and jot down the songs, and interesting stuff I hear during it.Lamp Arm is a guy inspired by a strange antique store find (yes, the price on it was really 198.95!). A sort of "blue boy" looking guy (statue thing) who had been converted into a lamp. And yes, it was his arm. He looked like he was shooting someone with some kind of lamp-gun. So my mom and I goofed on it the rest of the trip, and Lamp Arm shows up in my journal doodlings a lot. I am trying to find some way to introduce him into one of my comics...

Btw. in German, "Armleuchter" (literally, well, "arm-lamp" or "lamp-arm") is a mild, jocular term for someone who is stupid or exceptionally slow - don't ask me why - adding some extra fun for me.

Ha! That is cool!! (and yes, it does add extra fun). I don't think Lamp Arm is dumb. Just very angry. I don't really know why, I think having a lamp for an arm could have some great benefits.

Oh I don't think he's dumb either, just wanted to mention it.
Perhaps he's fed up with having to drag miles of extension cord behind him, you know, when going to the mall or something? But he can read in bed, that's not to be sneezed at!

Maybe he can become solar. Oh wait--that wouldn't work indoors though. Guess he'll have to run on double A's.
